The caretakers are very helpful and found me a place to stay. Because I was living in my tent. Now this is what I live in now

We had a lovely stay at Puntledge in fact so nice, that we had 3 separate stays. The hosts are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed In both dry and partial service sites, both were great and had a lovely, bright feel and great views. I saw lots of reviews slating the shower cards, but there's no issue with them at all, it's all easy to do and very good value and if you don't use your credit you just get the money back, so really it's no stress. Also worth saying, these are among the cleanest bathrooms I've ever used. Very grateful to Puntledge for their hospitality and big love for Mowgli their beautiful Maine Coon 😻

The place is amazing. The staff is amazing, friendly kind, generous in comparisons to other local campgrounds. This one is top shelf an amazing stay here. I will again anytime I am given that chance.

Stayed for 3 nights, We stayed in the lower campground near the park as we had smaller kids. The camp ground was quiet, the play ground was great for the kids and the spot on the river was perfect for our little kids to go splash around. We will definitely be back! The kids also loved the soft serve from ‘Ohana!

Pros: - Close to Cumberland which is a great town with mountain biking. - Able to walk to the town of Courtenay. I highly recommend Gladstone Brewing. Cons: - The restrooms were randomly out of toilet paper at certain times. - The showers offer very little privacy and require a card that you must reload at the front office. The front office has “set” hours, but staff was often not present during the open hours. - As of July 2025, they are putting up fences between every site. This did create some noise, but the fence staff are friendly. - Campground staff said they will be beginning on the construction of a new clubhouse so I imagine this will create a lot of noise and dust.
