We have spent 6 years here as snowbirds and absolutely love the staff here as well as the friends who are like family! Everybody looks out for one another and helps each other! This is a small park at a reasonable price it might not be the Taj Mahal to some but it sure is to us! We have activities, crafts, bingo, nightly games with friends, pot lucks and entertainment! Every park has issues within it but there is no place we’d rather be than Quail Roost! Kudos to Jodi and Debbie and Russ and his staff and Darlene and Pete who keeep the place so clean! Can’t wait to get back amongst friends who are like family! ❤️

Quail Roost RV Park is a community of friends within the park. Most everyone gets along & we all help one another out. Of course, there are a couple that like to complain about everything. The updates with the electric & the stone in each site is a welcome improvement. The manager, (Jodi) has been friendly & helpful at fixing issues. The maintenance crew Have been working hard to make the park look beautiful. I am so thankful that I found Quail Roost RV PARK & all the dear friends I’ve made.

This is in response to the review from sills. Sorry your stay was unpleasant. I did see your reservation was sun to Wednesday. Our power was out on Wednesday and turned back on the same day. but it did not effect the side you were staying on. The only side effected was the one side due to updating our main power boxes. And for the pool being shut down I am sorry that the law states it can cause illness with no circulation we can not let people in the pool. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Don’t ever stay at Quail Roost Campground. We made our reservation on a Saturday and arrived on Sunday. On Wednesday, the electrical power was off for 8 hours for repairs. No one told us one of our days would be dark. On top of that, the pool was closed due to no power for circulation. 82 • in Crystal River Florida. Staff should have told us. Never again!!!!

I recommend Quail Roost as a nice place to launch your Crystal River explorations. The staff is super friendly and the park's very easy to navigate. I had a convenient pull thru spot with plenty of room. I'd say this place is 75% snowbirds, but everyone was extremely friendly. The park is clean with plenty of shade; clean bathrooms, nice laundry facilities. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to Three Sisters Park We camped at Quail Roost RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is not for travelling, recreational "Camping". It appears that most of the elderly guest are more like full time residents. They are not dog friendly or family friendly. Because it is more of a full time living situation with the other guest that are there, there is a sense of entitlement & they are very rude. I have never left a bad review. It was so bad that we were ready to hook up the day before we were to check out. We will not be going back.

Very nice campground! Clean facilities. Nice people. 6 miles to Crystal River. Quite a bit of road noise and there's a fire station close by.

Fabulous place to stay in the Crystal River/Dunnellon area!! Super clean, well maintained park. Steve was warm and welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. Walks always entailed friendly greetings, and the setting was quiet and peaceful. A perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of Florida. Highly recommend!

Rip Off Tactics Applied Here!! Nice, Clean, and some friendly residents. I called to make a reservation and was told there would be a "storage fee" for the auto trailer I pull behind my motor home. I told Wendy, "never mind. I do not stay where I am charged to park the trailer I haul my car and motorcycle in". Ms. Wendy said she would call the manager to see if a particular site was available, and would ask about the trailer. Upon her call back, she advised that the site was available due to a no show, and I could park my auto hauler on the site, next to my motor home. Upon arrival, I was quickly instructed that I could NOT park my trailer on site, and would have to park it in the storage area. Actually, parking it in the storage area is not that big of an issue. A lot of inconvenience, but not a big deal. The real issue is when I was advised that a "storage fee" would be charged! I am not an outsider looking to "store" a trailer. I am not a permanent residence needing more space to "store" something. I use the trailer to move myself and my vehicle around for work! Even after I explained that I was told I would not be charged, I was advised that "that is the way we do things here. The storage fee MUST be paid". I will pay the storage fee, but I will not stay here after my month rental is up! I also will NEVER stay here again, due to the fact that..... I do not take kindly to being RIPPED OFF!!

Mr. Lamont Spencer, When were you in our park? I have nothing for you in our records showing you stayed with us. Were you registered under another name?

Spent the last 3 months here. The majority of the folks are friendly but the park as a whole is cliquey. It is also depressing, just moved to a nice park near Tybee Island. The beautiful sun made me realize just how dirty the trailer had become. We were parked under several large trees with moss everywhere. No grass, just sand and rock outside. The sites are mostly gravel with a little bit of grass, our site had none, just sand and gravel. There is a nice pool and clubhouse with activities. Caters to seniors, nothing for kids at this park. All the buildings painted a depressing shade of gray. Rent 515 + elec. We are now in a nice sunny location, with grass all around, lake out back, much happier. Do not recommend Quails Roost for a long stay. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
