Great family friendly campground minutes from fishing spots, grocery stores, gas, and liquor! Power and off grid sites, bathrooms are generally clean. We live in town, but love camping here!

The campground is very nice and sites are mostly very private. A lot of great wood is offered for burning and it has some amazing views. Had a great time here. Only downside is the office is open at off times and we couldn't get a hold of anyone who worked there when we tried.

We absolutely love this campground.. the people who look after it were amazing I liked the sites we were in. It is next to one of the best fishing spots in town. The only thing I can say is both showers in the men's were out of service for 3 of our 7 days..

The sites are nice. The office is only open from 5pm to 8pm. They do not return phone calls or emails. The site was 50 amp but the connection is not standard. (Will post a picture) We left because you could not use the power. There are no sewer or water connections at the site, but there are several fill locations and a dump station. Although the sites are enough for big rigs the road had a tight turn and was difficult for a 42 ft fifith wheel.

Horrible experience! I drove all night from Prince George to Kitimat. We were told by park staff that the campsite we chose was okay. We spent the whole day setting up the campsite and decided not to fo fishing so we could set up tent, gazebo, sleeping cots, kitchen, stove, water, everything only to be told at dinner time that the site had been booked online. We were told that they had nothing else so they offered us to stay in the park next to the children's swings and bathroom. Drove back to PG with my family after finding absolutely nothing available in the entire town. Thanks for such a great experience. The online reservation system was not advertised as required. No first come system any longer. This would have been the 7th year straight for our family but ended up being probably the last.

We had the best time at this campsite.The workers are really helpful. Fcfs so might have to wait to get a site but they will put you up.electric sitesare hard to get.shower is loonies N best shower ever.right on the river in town. Quiet,peaceful, great beach for dogs to run.so sad to leave kitimat. So much to do.no motors on river.fishing is amazing. Boat launch at hospital boat launch is really good,past Alcan.cant wait to come back!
