The woman who answers phones is unnecessarily rude. Her name is Denise. I simply asked her if there was a way for them to let me know if any of the reservations didn’t get filled. She told me the wait was a year. She wouldn’t let me do that and said the only way for me to know would be to come in. I can’t possibly walk into the park every day to see if there’s reservations available. Terrible way to do business. I’ve lived in this town for twenty years and her being rude was unnecessary. She needs to be fired. ASAP.

High participation of residents in softball, pickleball, biking, bocceball, shuffleboard, cornhole, horseshoes, water aerobics, exercise classes, entertainment, bands and dancing.
Group Bus Tours around Florida. Organized cruise ship excursions. Food trucks and street parties with live music and live music at pools on special occasions.
Includes 3 club houses with community rooms for dinners,  parties, watch sporting events, meetings, pool, ping pong, cards, crafts, quilting, laundry, bathrooms with showers, 2 swimming pools and 2 hot tubs, 2 dog parks and 3 dog walk areas.
Fitness room, post office, hot dog fund raisers.
Golf cart community across the street from public ball fields, farmers market, and public dog park. Golf cart to the villages across the street if you upgrade your cart to Low Speed Vehicle and register it.

Recreation Plantation is a nice ,clean well run RV park and Mobile Home park.

The front desk folks are awesome and very helpful. We felt welcome!!

Excellent park to visit. Very close to The Villages and tons of shopping, dining and entertainment. If you get bored at this park it’s your own fault. Staff are wonderful and always willing to help you out. Pools are great and plenty of activities.

Denise in the office does an incredible job at accommodating your dates. All staff is kind and helpful. Folks are friendly!  Great pickleball courts and players!

Conveniently located near The Villages, Florida in Central Florida. Many amenities and opportunities to stay busy and to socialize are provided if one desires. My wife and I came to visit 3 years ago in a Class A Motor Home. We enjoyed the Resort and decided to make this our permanent residence.
Bev, the Activities Director, and her Staff do an in excellent job of keeping people informed. Suzy is in charge of the 8:45 AM Sunday Morning Church in the Park Services and provides attendees the opportunity to worship the LORD in Song and hear different Speakers.  Nolan works very hard along with his Crew at resolving maintenance issues. Tracey is a Champion at answering Internet questions
Whether you are looking for an overnight camp site or a full time stay you should take the time to check out Recreational Plantation RV Resort.
Note; The only rooms provided are the ones in your camper. This is not a hotel, though some campers are available for rent Oct-March.

I would never go near this place again.  Little cliques every where , mean unfriendly people . Sold my place and got out of there , best thing I ever did.  

NOT 55+ anymore.  Now they allow anyone over 18.
No grass and sand everywhere with burrs.  Many aggressive dogs and owners.  Many complaints from talking to residents about dog poop not being picked up and owners that dispise each other.  Everyone runs stops signs and my dog almost got hit and the person could care less. 
Some really nice homes and then some really bad hoarder homes.  

Management is poor especially the maintenance manager who is not a pleasant person and blows you off when he says he will come by.  Then he gets rude and nasty when you ask again.  The night manager is very helpful thankfully.  

We have been coming for a few years and it gets worse each years.  People are less friendly and now there seems to be a serious garbage issue going on.  Nobody cares and they even have FAKE cameras. lol. Many residents told us how they want cameras and security fences but they get blown off by management and the owner. So the garbage area is a dump not only for residents who are disgusting, but outside people as well.  If I was full time resident i would  be pissed because you know the residents pay for the dumpster to be emptied often. 
Doubt we will be coming back much longer since no one including the owner apparently care.  He only cares about money and it’s obvious.

The night manager was a bit rude at first because I didn't leave my truck and camper in the front parking lot and walk to his place. But he quickly warmed up and was pretty cool and very accommodating. Decent place. Clean restrooms, and grounds.

Noise makers at it again...GRRRRRRRRR. Sunday's are NOT peaceful and quiet. Cranked up amplifiers again.   Noise heard over TV AND air conditioner. :( :( 

The management here allows people to play Amplified, LOUD music..regardless of multiple complaints.  Most people don't like something (especially something they don't like) crammed down their throats.  Week after week, after week.  Looking for quiet, peaceful Sundays...Do NOT expect it here. Paid $$$ to stay here and shouldn't have to leave our site to get away from all the noise....nope.
