This KOA was immaculate. I’ve worked at a KOA and we have been to different KOAs around the country and this one is by far our favorite. So clean, the spots were large, and the pool/hot tub were so nice!

E bike got stolen. The administration should have been more upfront with their issues with theft. They should have said “we highly suggest you store your bikes with us due to bike theft”. Freeway and trains are loud distractions. Situated next to the river which draws insects at night making it difficult to be outside. Restaurant Sheri that is recommended was dirty, old with poor service.

I made the on Line reservation paid for my reservation and drove to the Kaley. Campgrounds only to be looked at when I walked in the office like I was an insect. And she was kind to everybody. That would walk in but wouldn't say a word to me. Says they're looking at her computer and then finally just said. I'm gonna have to refund your money back to you. And when I asked why she said oh well your r v Is too old. To me, that is unacceptable in this day and age. Why isn't that information asked for before you reserve it and pay for it? And go through all of that headache, only to be turned away.. It was the rudest experience that I've had in a long time. And I definitely would not recommend the KOA in Red Bluff, California.

Beautiful and tidy Rv park. Nice concrete sites framed by grass and some trees. Picnic tables at each site. The site is pretty close to the highway, but the traffic noise wasn’t bad. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice koa. One of the best I’ve been to. Clean, level sites, good utilities. Lg clubhouse, lg pool. Give it 4.5 due to very small dog run. Happened to be here on Wednesday. Downtown very close and went to the farmers market. Quaint city with murals all over.

We had a great visit! We stayed in the river front spots and they were very spacious, we wish the weeds behind the fence were maintained so we could have a view of the river, but otherwise they were GREAT spots. The whole park is very well maintained. The pool area is wonderful, lots of space, shade, and seating options. My kids enjoyed the basketball court, watching the duck in the ponds, catching tiny frogs by the ponds in the mornings, swimming, and lots of bike riding while here. I used the gym, and though small it was a decent set up and I was able to use equipment to get my normal workouts in. It is close to the freeway so there is freeway noise but overall is a great location. We will definitely be back. Thanks!

Nice park, but the dog park is a small dirt patch. Very disappointing for a park with such nice amenities for people. When I walked our dog instead, the common grounds had lots of foxtail grass which is dangerous for dogs. Overpriced for such a disappointing place. Many people travel with dogs these days. Fancy water fountains are pretty, but you need to relocate your dog parks and do something about the foxtail grass.

My first night of two here was quiet enough that I decided to extend by two days -- but by the second morning I was ENTIRELY ready to leave. I waited for the office to open (9am, really?) and spoke with the manager about security concerns, in addition to William the maintenance manager's bizarre attitude -- and the clerk was supposed to have canceled my TWO extra nights. Unfortunately my emails showed the clerk only cancelled one of the extra nights, and when I went to the office to check the mistake before leaving, she insisted it was my error -- but then she did in fact realize that she had forgotten to cancel the extra night. Her excuse? "It's my Monday 🤷🏻♀️" Ma'am it's literally everyone's Monday because it's Monday. Besides, what good would it be to cancel Monday night's stay but not Tuesday night?? Absolutely ridiculous! And I still haven't gotten email confirmation that the second FULL PRICE extra night was canceled, although I've already checked out and left. So: if you do stay, don't leave anything outside at your campsite; I was warned by multiple residents, and saw two young men riding their bikes around casing sites. Beware!! And I had to call back to confirm my second extra night was canceled, because they never emailed me about it. DON'T GO HERE.

Nice campground the sites were good. My complaint is that they have two laundry facilities. In the first laundry facility, every machine has an out of order sign on it besides one.At the other building, every machine had an out of order sign except three. I hauled all of my things to each one and then had to go to town to find a facility to use. When I went into the front desk to ask about it, the lady couldn’t have cared less. . All she said was they are working on it.I said you should probably tell people when they check in that. There are no laundry facilities and she just shrugged her shoulders and said have a good day. Not at all the customer service I would expect.

This was our first time staying here and we were pleasantly surprised! Very nice welcome and great space. It is clear that this place moving up! We had a wonderful space with a patio. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but we appreciate the extra space. I love that there are multiple dog walks, and lots of room between spaces. We'll be back!

It's a Journey KOA! Beautiful, clean, level concrete sites! Awesome pool and pool house. Fountains, putting green, basketball court, horseshoe pits, hot tub. Just a really nice campground. Just 3 minutes off I-5, right on the Sacramento River. Freeway noise is minimal. Lots of food and stores close by. Friendly staff as usual!

I have stayed at the Durango Resort (now KOA) for the last 9 years. I always thought it to be one of the nicest parks on the I-5 corridor, and as a snowbird, stayed there twice a year going south and again north. I was interested to see what improvements KOA would make now that they purchased this park. Quite frankly, I was disappointed. It is now more expensive as most things are after Covid. They no longer show you to your site and so you need to find your own. Problem is, the site numbers are so small and painted brown on the concrete, I missed my site and drove around twice to finally find it. Before, as Durango, they would pick up bagged garbage in the morning….no more now ..be prepared for a long walk to the dumpster. The most irritating issue was noisy kids playing around in empty sites next us….. hockey and ball…speeding bicycles flying through…like is there no place to play? For the money, this is not worth it for me. I look forward to a nice restful place after my day’s drive and I will probably stay in another park from now on.. I know KOA is geared for families and so be it. Just disappointed that it wasn’t as nice as before.

Huge sites and very clean. We only stayed for an overnight, so we didn't avail ourselves of the pool or any other facilities. You can hear the highway, but it's not an area where trucks are usually braking, so it's just a 'wooshing' noise and didn't bother us. We were excited to see access to the trail along the river, but too tired after a long day to take a walk.

It's a very nice RV park. Check-in was easy, and the front desk people were fun & friendly!

Amazing weekend trio with friends. Great Glamping Resort. Hot tub was relaxing. A little freeway noise but the fountains cut way down on the noise. Excellent staff. We will be back!
