Campground was clean and a decent price. Our only complaint is the manager was very rude and unwelcoming. Felt like we were a huge inconvenience when we arrived.

We stayed at this park for 6 months. During that time, Bob and Diane were extremely helpful and accommodating. We kept delaying our departure date and they were very patient with us. Bob also helped me out with projects and offered his shop to me. If I'm ever back in the area I plan on staying there again.

A nice, quiet campground with clean facilities. Bob and Diane work hard to keep things running smoothly and the grounds looking great. It’s evident that they take pride in their work. We enjoyed our stay (site 7) and would return again.

We called to make a reservation and they were full, but put us in overflow. Despite being in overflow, the owners were kind enough to bring us over a fire pit. In addition, we were running late and called and the owners delayed their plans at a restaurant by a half hour to wait for us without complaint. Bath houses could use a little updating, but overall a great experience. Great dog park and cute pond for fishing! 10/10 will stay again!

We loved this campground and will return. Everything was neat as a pin and well kept. The grounds are woodsy and decorated nicely with flowers and planters. It doesn’t feel like a parking lot, like some campgrounds can be. Wi-Fi was stronger than many others we have visited. Restrooms are clean and well kept, very cute pond and little beach, dog friendly, nice place to take a walk. Yes, the speed limit is enforced but it seems perfectly logical and reasonable. No one hassled us at all about anything and owner was very kind. Everyone was friendly and the campground is peaceful and quiet and night. We were in our RV but the tent sites seemed nice as well. I have nothing bad to report at all and thought Red Gates was as cute and well maintained as could be! Thank you!

Decent little place. I wouldn't really recommend it. After the older gentleman skidded into my site on his golf cart raving about the speed limit, saying it was my second warning. While referring to the first and finding the text being sent to the wrong number, but further saying another infraction would result in me being escorted off the property. Youd think the wrong number would give one pause and the conversation wouldn't immediately elevate to calling the police.. If you must stay here, I would suggest pushing your vehicle through the property as there is no electronic radar and the man spent 20 some odd years in law enforcement. So he is a pretty good judge of speed, even he isn't outside to see your vehicle moving. There is a good chance as you'll see from other reviews, you'll experience this. They also seem fairly disorganized in the general management of the campground. Be patient. But it is clean, and quiet.

Nice little RV park off the beaten path. The grounds and facilities were neat and tidy, the staff were friendly, the spaces were good sized. I would recommend this RV park. One thing, however, the 5MPH speed limit is ridiculously enforced.

A cute little RV park that I visited my parents at for the day. It is a great spot to camp for families. They have public restrooms and showers. They have a dog run for animals. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Make sure you bring a bug catcher to teach your kids about fireflies/lighting bugs! Yes, we released them after a few minutes of fun.

We were able to get a last minute overnight reservation. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and very efficient. The campground is family owned and it shows they put a lot of care into it. Located easily off the highway and has just 20 sites. Clean, super quiet and very affordable for full hookup. Your greeted and escorted to your site which was nice. The spots aren't huge but you have enough room to enjoy your meals outside. We would love to go visit again to enjoy all the area has to offer. Hiking trails, orchards, vineyards are literally across the road. A super pretty place to visit.
