We live in our travel trailer and because Duluth is a busy area we have spent time in most of the RV parks in the greater Duluth area and Red Pine is our favorite. The clubhouse is the star of the park. The laundry room has big washers and dryers that actually work. No wasting your precious quarters here! And there is only one shower per gender but in the many times we stayed there I had to wait for it once. It’s always clean, always hot, and very spacious. Also, there’s stuff to do in the clubhouse if you get bored, and A SINK FOR WASHING DISHES. Folks this is like gold, trust me. Also, there’s pretty water around you and a beautiful trail if you brought your pup or just like a scenic walk. And the owners are SO kind and SO accommodating. They are constantly working and updating things. I wish I’d taken a pic to share it but they had just made a wooden map of the park on their CNC and they were staining it when we left for the season. People talked about some train and vehicle noises in their reviews which is fair, but you will honestly not find an RV park in Duluth that doesn’t have that problem. And *most people are quiet and when we had a problem with someone the owners were quick to do something. So even with the more narrow spaces you should be fine. For the price and the fact that t’s full hook up’s, look no farther than Red Pine. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in Duluth again.

Our Lake Superior Circle tour took us through the Duluth area at the end of September. As color season was in full swing, many campgrounds right on our route were full. Red Pine is an about 30 minutes off route, but they had vacancy so we booked. Our late check in was very easy. Owners are pleasant. Campground is neat and tidy, well maintained. We stayed in site 51 directly across from one of the lakes. We have a popup, and Red Pine is more of an RV park, so our standards are a little different. We felt like the sites were small (narrow), putting us right up against our neighbors. The campground was near capacity, so we were hemmed in by bigger rigs. We had noisy neighbors one night, and being in the popup they did keep us awake. (On the upside, another neighbor saved our canopy from the wind while we were gone one day, so not all neighbors are annoying!) The sites have a nice picnic table and fire ring, gravel for parking, grass for sitting, full hookups. The campground is near Hwy 53, and the traffic noise is nearly constant day and night. There is also a train track nearby and we heard trains periodically day and night. There is one bathroom to service the whole campground (most rvs have their own setups, but ours, again, is a popup). Our site was about as far away as we could be from the bathroom - we were glad to have bikes to make that trip quicker. The restrooms are in a clubhouse of sorts. Not many stalls and only one shower, but on even this busy weekend, I rarely saw anyone there and never had to wait. The showers are amazing! Spacious, immaculate, hot water and plenty of it, great shower head - just like home! The clubhouse had a pool table, vending machines, books, videos, puzzles, games, laundry facilities…would be very nice in a rainy day. If you’re looking for an RV park, I think this is great. Convenient to many attractions in the area, many things to do, etc. If you’re looking for quiet and nature, you may be disappointed. It’s great for what it is - but it may not be for everyone.

This campground is a hidden gem. The family who owns it were very friendly and helpful. The shower house/community center is well equipped for entertainment and laundry use. It's just minutes from Duluth (and the greater Duluth area) for any needs you might have. We were quite pleased with our stay. Highly recommend.

We just spent almost a week here. Great location. Site were spacious, club house beautiful, bathroom and showers clean. Even the laundry was nice. They have a canoe and paddle boat that you can use free of charge . There are great grassy trails. This place was great, we enjoyed are time.

The wife & I stayed here for a month June - July 2025. The park is quiet and kid friendly. The walking trails with there wild flowers is stunning. Canoe and paddle boats available on a good size lake. Nice games section along with fire pits in all sites. Good laundry facilities in the club house. We just love this place and would definitely plan on coming back!
