I love camping there. The campsites are nice. The bathrooms are clean and showers warm. There's a playground and a wide sidewalk around the lake. I wish there was a sandy beach in the swim area instead of sloped concrete. Also, the spots up against the road are noisy all night. I've camped here before though, and will camp here again. Just glad they were able to accommodate us with short notice 🙂

Beautiful place the lake is very big wonderful panorama, space clean and spacious, showers very clean. Thank you Fracis management. Also the dump station is very clean..love this place..

Camp B was awesome! I recommend reserving a site on the B side, the host Joe does a fantastic job of keeping everything on B side in tip top condition. The showers are kept in much better condition than A side, the restrooms are in great functional order AND showers are open an hour longer than the other side. Our host, Joe (and his lovely wife as well), was far more than just a camp host, he wanted to speak to the campers, get to know everyone, help, and allow everyone to have fun an enjoy their time. He loaned my family fishing poles and bait to use at the marina and even showed us the best spot to fish, offered to take us out on the boat he owns and really made us feel welcome, like family would. My kids demanded we return to the B side because “Joe is sort of like another grandpa”. The park has a swing set on A side, and over 100 sites most of which you can park an RV in. There are fewer tent only sites but there are plenty of them. All RV/Tent sites have a water hookup and electric hookup, the tent sites do not have either. There are sites that are fully shaded, partially shaded and a couple near the showers and restrooms that are not shaded, but the grass is green, and there’s no mud to trudge through.

5 stars for site b. The hosts are great on site b; hosts on site A can be iffy, rude and pushy, but they all do a great job maintaining the area’s. Area’s that get muddy get grounded up wood bits spread on the ground for reasonable trails. Showers and bathrooms are cleaned often with hoses, cleaning agent, smell good stuff as required. Some areas are near the main road so you may hear more traffic depending on site placement. There is a resident owl who is nice contrast to wake up to besides the little birds and (self)territorial squirrels. The marina is near by and there is a small bridge near the lake If you feel the need to walk to the other side of the park. The showers are on analog timers which can easily be wound up for more time which is great vs the ones in the Armitage park that are on digital 4+ cool downs.

Love fern ridge and camping there is great. Easy walk to swim or marina. Feels natural, not just parking slot camp spots.
