Clean facilities, excellent guide, big pool, decent hiking trails. We stayed in our camper for the weekend. Showers are individual rooms, clean and large. Great inexpensive place to get away for the weekend or stop by for a night on a larger trip.

Haven't been in many years. Things have changed but we had an amazing time with the kids. Pool water was clean and clear, but the sides of the pool at the water level was really dirty on some parts in the pool. Didn't get to do any trail walking or go through the cave. Next time! Kids played on the playground, scoured through the gift shop, and ate lunch while the thunder kept anyone from getting in the pool. We will go back. Close and convenient!

Very nice park friendly staff and we'll kept.I enjoy my hike some spring flowers were out. Cave was nice as well. GPS was a little off getting to park. Short drive from highway.

Went here for valentimes day with wife very fun and educational good for kids really easy to navigate. Tour guid kinda went to fast for my liking but was on a time schedule . Full tour about 1hr 30 mins to see the full cave . Overall very fun and educational for a family outing

I am generally not the caving type. Leave the spelunking to the experts, I say. But I happily make a distinction for Rockwood Caverns. First of all, it is not the most challenging of cave trails, although the final staircase back to the surface is fairly legitimate. Secondly, the underground vistas are spectacular and easily photographed. Thirdly, the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the right blend of cavern expertise without overdosing the information. The price was right too. Spelunker Sinay says: Be sure to walk around the park above ground as well. There are a number of cavern outcroppings that pop up to the surface here and there. It gives an interesting surface perspective on the caverns to go with the underground views.
