We are SO happy we found this place! Site #33 with the Verse River view was perfect. Just big enough to not feel crowded and easy to get in to. And the dog off leash area down by the river is a puppy paradise! (See my pics!) Also, Amanda in the front office is awesome… she could give master’s class on welcoming guests and making them feel well cared for. We would definitely come back if we’re in Cottonwood again 😁 ~@therunawaypeach

Mandy is a great park manager. She, Kaylene, Jeremy and the camp hosts were professional, polite and totally attentive to my needs and the coach's needs. Very well ran park. Facilities snd campsites meticulously cared for and maintained. Lots of awesome hikes immediately adjacent to the park and along the Verde River. Old Town Cottonwood is nearby. Convenient to Sedona. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights at Rio Verde RV- we had a great pull through site. The location was convenient, and is about 20-30 minutes from Sedona sites. Once in our RV, road noise was eliminated- they had a nice dog “park”, and it was also easy to get all down to the river area for off-leash play. Bathrooms were clean, single user rooms. We would stay again if in the area.

Rio Verde RV Park is a pretty quiet, clean and easy to navigate park. While this is a fairly basic park (e.g. no pool or other on site entertainment), it was a great place to stop and enjoy the area. We parked along the river and the road noise wasn't bad. Some of the road side spots might have more noise. The laundry room was clean with well functioning machines (fair pricing too). Didn't use the restrooms. There are several fake grass areas for dogs (only 1 appeared to be a small off-leash area). Super easy access trails for walking or biking. All the staff were interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for a week while exploring the Sedona area. Location is convienently located to Fry's Grocery, Home Depot and several restaurants. Its only a 15 min drive into Sedona which was fine for us. We stayed at a pull through lot that provided plenty of space along with fire pits. The office sells wood and Propane. The price for propane is fair when you consider they come to your site, pick up the propane canisters and bring them back full
