We’re on a 4 week road trip and this was one of the nicest parks we’ve seen. Mandy does an outstanding job - so friendly and helpful. Her restaurant list was a little extra treat and provided great ideas. Cottonwood has a lot more to offer than most people know, and a quick trip to Jerome makes for a nice day. Mandy’s recommendation for dining there was “spot on”. You can tell the park is well managed. Attention to detail is evident. They picked up my propane bottle, filled it and brought it back. We highly recommend Rio Verde RV Park.

Located on the Verde River with great proximity to Cottonwood. Sites are mostly treed with full hook ups. Nice trail to adjacent hill top with spectacular views! Also a short tail along the river. There are two tiny homes for rent, also right on the river. Will definitely visit again!

Mandy made our entire stay feel like we were royalty. She went above and beyond to assure we had a great time and were comfortable. The sites are large and they are clean. Great walkway to the river with apple and jujube trees. Central to Jerome, Prescott, Sedona.. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and safe.. Jamie and Traci

My wife and I are in Phoenix at the Mayo for her scans every quarter. We make it a point to stay at Rio Verde RV Park as we love the location next to the river. The early morning air is cool and clean. We always see wild life enjoying the same thing as they wander through camp. The host is so friendly and welcoming, she is such a pleasure to speak with in person or on the phone. I highly recommend staying at Rio Verde RV Park if it’s only for one night or longer. You will definitely enjoy your time there.

It was an amazing and memorable experience staying at the Tiny House in Rio Verde RV park. The house was compact, cute, clean and cozy. It had all the basic amenities in a small space. We had a great time staying there and will do it again if we get a chance. Andy was very helpful and addressed our requests promptly. The location was perfect in Sedona. Thank you!

We were originally planning on a week at Rio Verde RV Park, but after getting there we asked the Manager, Mandy if we could extend our stay due to liking the area and RV Park. Mandy was able to switch some things around to accommodate us so we could stay in our same RV spot. Rio Verde RV Park is located in an ideal location for plenty of different exploring opportunities. At check in Mandy was a wealth of information regarding things to do and she was on point with her information. The Park had extremely clean bathrooms/showers and plenty of hot water. I would recommend staying at Rio Verde RV Park if you're in the area. They also had a nice little river where you can sit or fish bordering the property. John, Shannon, Kyla and Kane K.

We rented a site for the weekend. We enjoyed our stay. Mandy was wonderful during our check in process. She gave us tons of great information about the area and certain resources. We arrived during a rain storm and the site was well graveled and no mud to deal with, which I appreciated. Amazingly, the wifi was very good for our needs. We even streamed a program on it at night without buffering. The only thing I would have liked was a picnic table and/or a firepit. Don't let that stop you, most sites had them. At checkout, we met a few folks who helped with getting us a propane fill and they were also very nice and helpful. The spot was a good pull through spot with easy in and out of the park. It was clean. The RV park itself had some cool features like the walk to the top of the hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the River walk which was serene, cool due to shade trees, and peaceful with benches to contemplate. The only ding I'd say is that it is close to a busy road. I selected this location because driving in Sedona is a drag. There is good public super inexpensive transit in the area so we could to leave the driving to the professionals that got us to all the hot spots in Sedona. I didn't have to worry about parking which is an issue in Sedona.

This is a great park. Love the location, the Verde River is a great fishing spot while you are there. Lots of room to walk your dog and off leash area by river is wonderful. They also partner with a local farm in walking distance, you can volunteer to help at the farm or just get some yummy veggies and eggs. Mandy, the park manager is incredibly helpful and welcoming. Laundry and restrooms are super clean.

The staff is fantastic. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. It's an interesting layout with many levels and types of sites. We enjoyed their pull through site, but they have many options. Tiny houses, too. The river has a nice walking path, there is an amazing stairway to a view point and historic ruins, and just minutes from all that Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona has to offer. I will return!

What a great campground! We have a 73 foot rig and reserved a long pull through. They had the perfect spot which was easy to get in and out of. The office woman was so very friendly, accommodating, and helpful! They had all of the amenities we needed and the great view of the mountains was a plus. The campground is well kept and quiet. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

The friendly staff at Rio Verde went above and beyond to allow our party to stay together in a full campground. Hiking trails, river access, propane on site, quiet campers, and affordable laundry make it possible to enjoy a day in as much as a trip to conveniently located Sedona or Cottonwood. We came in and left as happy campers!

Wonderful RV Park with friendly, helpful, and warm staff. Really enjoyed our time here. So much so that we extended our stay. We'll definitely be back. Beautiful park, nice amenities, clean and maintained appropriately. Firewood sold up front. We were also fortunate to be staying here while a couple of food trucks were parked & operating right up front near the park entrance. (The Salvadoran Food was FANTASTIC!)

What a wonderful RV park. We loved staying here. They even have a food truck park with the best gourmet bananas, tacos & Gyros. Everyone was so friendly. Only 20 minutes to Sedona! We will make this our go-to stop traveling back and forth. Such a gem of a place.

We didn’t get very far in to the park but what we did see was well-kept, clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was great with easy access for our oversized rig and trailer. Parking for additional vehicle was great as well.

Such a good place to stay!!! Paul was so kind & helpful during our stay & the place is perfect for anyone visiting the surrounding areas as its only a 15 minute drive from several attractions. The property was clean and neat, no noisy neighbors or anything like that. It was also great that they had propane refills because we were dry camping after our stay here so we wanted to top off before heading out. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back in the future!
