Rooms are dated and need some attention but they are comfortable enough. Nice Tv with good selection. I had a king room and it had a mini fridge, a couple of bottles of water and coffee supplies with mini coffee maker. Housekeeping doesn’t come daily but will if requested at the front desk. I was here in the middle of November and the holiday display is quite something both inside and out. Bistro pub downstairs is good food and very reasonable. I suggest having the Rising Star combo for breakfast it is very good and generous with portion sizes. Staff was friendly in all my interactions.

My husband and I booked a room to escape our busy lives for some R&R. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant/ bar. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was clean. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever layed on. We travel a lot and actually have a firm mattress at home. This bed felt like a piece of plywood. I've never felt anything like it. Not sure if all the rooms have the same beds. We were in room 258. After about 3 hours of tossing and turning, we left early in the morning. As we walked out past the front desk, the four people at the desk talking just ignored us. No thank you, come back or anything. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, the place doesn’t seem to be doing very well. Extreme lack of maintenance. Dining options suck. Carpeting is filthy. Many spiders and bugs in hallways and the room we were in. The pool is nice but hot tub needs painted. The wallpaper is bubbled and peeling in the hallways. Doors in the pool area needs replaced and the patio door leading outside from the pool needs the track cleaned and lubricated. The exercise equipment also needs lubricated.i hope they survive but it’s not looking good. I wish they could bring the buffet back at reasonable price. May help them survive, however, they do give good comps. Probably the most we’ve ever gotten and we are not high rollers. I’d really like to see improvements in dining options and cleanliness; our room was very clean, except for finding a couple of baby spiders but we were right at the last room to the exit door at the end of the hall. I also wish they had more non-smoking areas for slots.Regardless, we enjoyed our time there.

I enjoy going to this casino. And I have for 26 year's. The staff is always friendly and helpful $$$. The rooms and casino is always clean. The casino does smell little like smoke. But they got non smoking areas and rooms. If that's not your thing. The entrance and casino is amazing to see. So if your close stop give them a visit.

We really enjoyed our visit to Rising Star Casino and Hotel. Our room was quiet, and it looked like new carpeting. Clean and functional bathroom but dated. Our TV was older but worked well. As for the casino, plenty of fun, lots of give-a-ways. The drinks were pretty good as well. Our only gripe is that we found the food selection to be very poor. The buffet was pricey, and the "steak buffet" was out of steaks at 5:00 pm on Saturday night. They have a coffee shop in the main lobby that, for some unknown reason, never opened the entire weekend. We understand the casino is in flux now as they had plans to relocate, which we heard is now off with plans to renovate. Every employee we did meet was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience. A few tweaks here and there and Rising Star would be a 5 star experience.
