This is our second RV trip and stay with our brand new Odyssey Entegra. Our first hook up and state park stay. I didn't know what to expect but was confident in the choices my husband made. It turns out, this is a great start. The RISP is a small park, nestled in a small nook between mountains, offering privacy and quiet. The park offers WiFi but it's spotty because of the mountains you are surrounded by. It has a small boat ramp and small beach. The RV lots are spacious. You won't see, RVs parked 6 feet from each other like on our third trip. Each site has table, grill, and fire pit. I gave it a four star because the sites don't have full hook ups. The sites have power and water only but it has a dump station towards the front of the park. The park also offers bathrooms (which are kept very clean) with showers and a dish washing sink in the back. It has a nice size dog park, and it's kept cleaner than I thought, with a few turds here and there. There are a couple of short but tough walking trails (not for the faint of heart). If you check in after hours your name is placed on a piece of paper on the front door of the office. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were gone for 5 hour and left our dogs in the RV and the staff was very helpful in taking our phone number in case of emergency. If you stay here, you will have access to its sister park, Buckskin Mountain State Park (too busy for y taste) which is 5 minutes away. There are other parks nearby that you can visit. If you like to play golf, they're is a golf course about five minutes away. Overall, I enjoyed a pleasant stay at RISP.

Beautiful and clean. The camper/RV spots are easy to pull through and each has a picnic table, fire pit, and water and power hookup. Nice bathrooms on both ends, and a great area near the boat launch to enjoy the river.

Absolutely memorable experience! Absolutely clean, great view of river and mountains. People who work/volunteer there are some of the nicest people you could meet. Electricity, water, bathrooms, showers, sink to wash dishes. They provide it all. I intend to revisit.

We had a blast at this campground. Largely because it has great water access for craft. Also, the island breaks up the river so the water next to the park is slow moving, full of jumping fish and great for water enthusiasts of all ages. It would be difficult for a wheelchair user to access the beach. We will definitely return.

Great park and well taken care of. Biggest complaint is the boat ramp can be very shallow depending on the river height. So you have to monitor that if you are going to launch there.

The park is well laid out and clean. It is on the smallish side, which is nice. The sites are spacious and the personnel are friendly and helpful. The sites are not right on the river, but it's just a short walk. It is conveniently located between Parker and Havasu.

We travel full-time, and this park ranks among our favorites! Sites 1 thru 4 are, in our opinion, the best.

A cozy cove along the Colorado River. Enjoyed a perfect day-hike and swim. Clean showers. Trails are short and easy with supremely gorgeous views of calm waters, kyakers, and hawks flying high above towering rock cliffs. The cove feels more protected from the wind on gusty days. Peaceful atmosphere. Lovely space to meditate.

I only spent a night here but wow was it gorgeous. Extremely well kept and surrounded by beauty. Didnt use facilities. Verizon signal was almost non existent. Definitely worth a day or two!

In good weather this is a great place to camp for the night. Right on the river, and has a beach and boat launch. Clean bathrooms and showers, RV hookups, safe. Warning- it gets very hot here in summer. If you tent camp, be aware that it’s right on the highway so there is road noise.

Lovely campground snuggled into a cove between rocky hills and with a lovely little bay on the Colorado. Nice and quiet at night despite being right off the highway. Very clean and well kept overall, including bathrooms and showers. Felt safe (as a solo female). Good hiking options too!
