This (smaller) campsite is very well-organized. Shady pitches are located at the edge of the grounds. We had a fully hooked-up site and were almost perfectly level. The restroom facilities are VERY clean. A stay here is definitely recommended, especially because of the perfect location near the Fortress of Louisbourg.

Pretty quiet, handy to Fort for a short drive. Nicest showers (free) we have seen. Up a bit on Jack's to level, but side to side pretty level in #1. Some wifi in this spot close to office. There are drive through lots in center.

Pros: excellent water pressure, electrical, and sewage systems; only 1 km to Fort Louisbourg Visitor Center and close to downtown; friendly helpfully staff (one guy -very hard worker), Con: sites are very narrow - if you have another trailer next to you there is only 8 to10 feet of space between; if your trailer is more than 25ft-ish you'll have to park tow vehicle elsewhere. N/As due to Covid camp washrooms are closed; downtown is pretty much a ghost town for tourist also because of Covid. Overall a good place. Fort Louisbourg very worth it.

RV park is small and there was only a few rvs there for the weekend but it was the perfect spot for camping due to how close it is to the fortress and the town. Wasnt much open yet in town due to covid. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location. Clean facilities. Sites are a bit close to each other and not level so be prepared to use your own level device. Water pressure was high and could create problems unless you have a prv.

Darryl is very warm, welcoming and helpful. He keeps the campground and washrooms in pristine condition. We would definitely stay here again.
