It's a dry camp, partial hookups, and a few full hookup sites. Some sites along the river bank other more inland but a short walk. Can be dusty when the wind blows and hot during the summer.

Nice place to camp. Camped here twice. Lots of shade, clean bathrooms and showers. Looks like every spot has a fire pit and bench. If you forget anything or want to grab food, the town is five minutes outside of camp.

Great camping location right on the Kern River. My one complaint is the free Wi-Fi sucks. You have to literally be right next to the office to even see the network listed to be able to connect to it, and if you get any distance away from the office, ie. your campsite, you lose the connection.

I am now living in Rivernook. I am so happy, I have a creek in my backyard and the kern river is a five minute walk.

My wife and I had a permanent spot in the campground for over ten years. God, we really miss it. We fished and biked to the river or just sat around the campfire. It was a long drive from camp, but we loved going to eat the famous porterhouse steak and mudpie desert. Yes, we really do miss it. Its only 13 hours from where we are now I think its a plan.
