Stayed 2-1/2 weeks in April while having work done on our Jeep. Price of stay was a bit steep but it is California. Rooms meaning site - Spacious lots with large shade trees, which is a blessing in this climate. Service - Staff always friendly and informative. Location - Right over the border to Yuma AZ and Los Algodones Mexico. Easy access right off I-8. Nice walkway along the Colorado River. A few nice views, otherwise the vegetation/plants are over grown. I suggest they get rid of the invasibe plants. Nice large clean pool! Lots of other activities if interested. Did not use laundry room or showers. Nice easy drive to Imperial Sand Dunes, Salvation Mtn, Slab City, Salton Sea. We would recommend this campground and would stay here again.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks last December. First, even though we had a reservation, they closed the office 15 minutes early on our check-in day and left no info at the office for us. This park is very old and has become very rundown. The trees were nice for a desert location, this place has great potential if updated and upgraded, but everything has become very, very overgrown. There is NO ACCESS to the water--bullrushes and other grasses have taken over the whole shoreline and stand over 15 feet tall, there is no view, no beach, no boat launch. There used to be little sitting areas along the shore for viewing, but they've been allowed to crumble and rot and they've been overgrown. There were water pressure problems the whole stay. We had to fill the tank and draw from there to get any pressure. Our next door neighbour seemed determined to re-sod the desert and ran 8 sprinklers every day in an attempt to grow lawn. Management didnt seem to care enough to do anything about it. I thought this place, on a map, would be a perfect location, but you can not walk from this place to anywhere. On a positive note, while old, the pool and hot tubs are moderately well maintained and we did use them during our stay. The laundry facilities were clean and well kept.

This place is not great. Most of the people seem to be living here, which = a certain "climate" at the park. The front gate is not secure (it's broken, so they just leave it open), laundry is hit or miss and you need to use coins from the office, the pool isn't clean, the kid's play structure is about to collapse, and the RV sites have a lot of hazards. We wouldn't stay here again. (Stayed March 2025)

Nice enough place, pretty tight for 41' 5th wheel. Confusing time, mountain or pacific time. We were right next to Colorado river. On the California side. After unhooking noticed I had backed over a couple handful of nails and screws. A neighbor advised that a park model had been dismantled. Advised staff and checked again before pulling out and checked all tires and all is good. Nice park for mile or so hike on Arizona side.

Very nice kept grounds. All hookups seem to be in good working order. Great staff in office, very helpful. Very quiet and not a rowdy place at least where we are located. Has security that I see drives around at night with a golf cart. Actually a very large park from which we take daily drives out into the desert. Great home base to come back to and relax. Alot of nice shaded sites, too! We will be coming back for sure.

I traveled here with my wife and four children in February of 2022. Rivers Edge is one of the few RV parks/resorts in the Yuma area that welcomes children, even though most folks there tend to be older couples. It's a very nice place, clean, up-to-date, and spacious. Both the staff and other guests were friendly and courteous, giving us advice on things to do and see in the area, and loaning us chairs and tables when we had other visitors. There's a pool and hot tub on site, as well as a game room with billiard and poker tables, a library with books and movies, shuffleboard, pickleball, a small indoor gym, clean showers/bathrooms, and plenty of room to walk and explore the grounds and the river. Certainly I would recommend for anyone with an RV or camper in the area.

Park is rundown. Electrical boxes are falling over. Access to main entrance is impossible. Don’t waste your money.

Nice quiet RV park along the Colorado River. Clean and activities on site. Nothing within walking distance.

My parents have been going down here for the past 8 years. They went under new ownership almost 2 years ago and it has gone extremely down hill ever since! Lots of theft in the resort, they no longer have security guards, and if you leave a 1 star review they ban you from the resort all together! My parents found this out after they arrived there, gave them their names and were told they were banned from the park. I would highly suggest you look else were if you are planning on staying here!

Handed 8 pages of rules upon entry. That should have been a clue. Woke up at midnight to find locked bathrooms. Locked bathrooms!!! That was not noted in the rules nor any mention when we checked in. No shade at our site. No table. No converter to 110 electric. No early morning shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. So one star for that.
