Very nice situated RV-park along the Colorado River. Lot's of big trees, so lot's of shade. All roads are paved (asphalt). Clean toilet/shower/laundry buildings (3). Novemer through March a full activity calender. Only downside is the I-8 gives a lot of noise during the night.

Rivers Edge RV Resort is smack dab on the Colorado River. Right over the Arizona border in California! I stayed here during the winter of 2005. I have never forgotten how safe and welcoming it felt. I was a traveling nurse, traveling alone. I swam nearly everyday, as I worked nights and became one of the “Pool ladies.” One day I missed swimming because I didn’t feel well. The ladies actually came to my motorhome and checked on me. I used to love to shop in Algodones in Mexico and stocked up on my generic Prilosec. 😝 Yuma was a small wonder! Garden Cafe was my favorite for oatmeal pancakes with lingonberries and their Torture Cake! If you’re too full, get a piece to go and take it home and share it is huge. I have a tiny Mexican pottery plate with a rabbit 🐇 on it from Pica Flor in Yuma sitting on my mantel. And the old IHS Clinic I worked at had its own charm with date trees just outside, a visiting rattlesnake. The employee break room was the old morgue. I’m sitting here today with a cup of hot chocolate, my fireplace burning and it’s 8 degrees outside. My cup is from River’s Edge Pottery. I just wanted to say thank you for the memories. ❤️

This place is awesome. Owners are great. Everybody is so nice. We have met a lot of good people. The facilities are great like a big pool 2 hot tubs which are cleaned every morning and chemicals checked. The bathroom and showers are so nice. We use to stay across the road at Sans End never again the place is going down hill fast. We have shuffle board horse shoes they have dances you can play bingo cribbage bunko and Texas Holdem. They have a really long dog walk. Paved roads no dirt roads like across the road. They have pool tables and a great big black and white checker board painted on the cement and big chess pieces and checkers. Would definitely recommend this place

Nice shady big oasis! Pulled in late had no reservations as it was an impromptu stop to see the area. Site was great for a 60ft pull thru. We booked online when we pulled in, after hours on a Sunday night. WiFi ended up not being able to accommodate our needs or wld have stayed a week. Enjoyed the huge outdoor lounge and refreshing pool, saunas and very clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Lots of info of what to do and see around the area rivers locally, But not at the Rivers Edge resort due to renovation and conservation efforts it looked as tho it’s been a project in the work for some time. Hard to tell what the goal is for visitors to see or enjoy besides dirt and a torn up rivers edge on the property. Being so close to the busy season of snowbirds arriving. The river was the pull for us to stop and stay. Then the WiFi got worse with not allot people there. Our 5G cld only make it through 1/2 the time. I see lots of renovations have been made on the web site. I wld suggest upgrading your WiFi boosters. We did enjoy our time here. Just some hiccups and unexpected pluses. We wld stay here again.

We arrived to a site that was not properly displayed on there site. They moved us and it was OK. All the sites are dilapidated. Broken cement or brinks. The site we where in was not cleaned of leaves etc. The park itself is poorly maintained. We tried to use the laundry room and machines did not work. The coin you need to use the machine was ko. So we had to drive to the laundry mat in town. Maybe it is not the high time but there was no one on site to speak with. Closed on Sundays.

Stayed 2-1/2 weeks in April while having work done on our Jeep. Price of stay was a bit steep but it is California. Rooms meaning site - Spacious lots with large shade trees, which is a blessing in this climate. Service - Staff always friendly and informative. Location - Right over the border to Yuma AZ and Los Algodones Mexico. Easy access right off I-8. Nice walkway along the Colorado River. A few nice views, otherwise the vegetation/plants are over grown. I suggest they get rid of the invasibe plants. Nice large clean pool! Lots of other activities if interested. Did not use laundry room or showers. Nice easy drive to Imperial Sand Dunes, Salvation Mtn, Slab City, Salton Sea. We would recommend this campground and would stay here again.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks last December. First, even though we had a reservation, they closed the office 15 minutes early on our check-in day and left no info at the office for us. This park is very old and has become very rundown. The trees were nice for a desert location, this place has great potential if updated and upgraded, but everything has become very, very overgrown. There is NO ACCESS to the water--bullrushes and other grasses have taken over the whole shoreline and stand over 15 feet tall, there is no view, no beach, no boat launch. There used to be little sitting areas along the shore for viewing, but they've been allowed to crumble and rot and they've been overgrown. There were water pressure problems the whole stay. We had to fill the tank and draw from there to get any pressure. Our next door neighbour seemed determined to re-sod the desert and ran 8 sprinklers every day in an attempt to grow lawn. Management didnt seem to care enough to do anything about it. I thought this place, on a map, would be a perfect location, but you can not walk from this place to anywhere. On a positive note, while old, the pool and hot tubs are moderately well maintained and we did use them during our stay. The laundry facilities were clean and well kept.

This place is not great. Most of the people seem to be living here, which = a certain "climate" at the park. The front gate is not secure (it's broken, so they just leave it open), laundry is hit or miss and you need to use coins from the office, the pool isn't clean, the kid's play structure is about to collapse, and the RV sites have a lot of hazards. We wouldn't stay here again. (Stayed March 2025)

Place is decent people are nice but the hot tubs don’t ever seem to be on. We were here for a week in November and they were off for 3 of 7 days then really dirty for the next few. Back here today Feb 24 and they are off again.

Nice enough place, pretty tight for 41' 5th wheel. Confusing time, mountain or pacific time. We were right next to Colorado river. On the California side. After unhooking noticed I had backed over a couple handful of nails and screws. A neighbor advised that a park model had been dismantled. Advised staff and checked again before pulling out and checked all tires and all is good. Nice park for mile or so hike on Arizona side.

Very nice kept grounds. All hookups seem to be in good working order. Great staff in office, very helpful. Very quiet and not a rowdy place at least where we are located. Has security that I see drives around at night with a golf cart. Actually a very large park from which we take daily drives out into the desert. Great home base to come back to and relax. Alot of nice shaded sites, too! We will be coming back for sure.

I traveled here with my wife and four children in February of 2022. Rivers Edge is one of the few RV parks/resorts in the Yuma area that welcomes children, even though most folks there tend to be older couples. It's a very nice place, clean, up-to-date, and spacious. Both the staff and other guests were friendly and courteous, giving us advice on things to do and see in the area, and loaning us chairs and tables when we had other visitors. There's a pool and hot tub on site, as well as a game room with billiard and poker tables, a library with books and movies, shuffleboard, pickleball, a small indoor gym, clean showers/bathrooms, and plenty of room to walk and explore the grounds and the river. Certainly I would recommend for anyone with an RV or camper in the area.

Park is rundown. Electrical boxes are falling over. Access to main entrance is impossible. Don’t waste your money.

Nice quiet RV park along the Colorado River. Clean and activities on site. Nothing within walking distance.
