Traveling thru Alaska with 40’ motor home and 24’ trailer.  Called here to book a spot- pull thru. While the pull thru spot was almost long enough to accommodate the coach and trailer, the sewer hook up is at the very end of the spot- about 45’ back from the rv hook up. Even with 2 lengths of hose I was still 20’ short. Koa does not have any extra sewer hoses to use do you will have to run hook and store trailer. The layout of the park is extremely dense, you have a camper literally 4’ on either side. We were here when a couple of caravans were here. The bus to pick everyone up is right behind us so you hear everyone at 7am talking waiting for the bus. You will pay well over $100 per night here. Not the best stop we’ve made.

Great park!  Family owned and run business.  Great camp store, benches by the river, dog park, lots of level pull thru sites.  Our group was treated very well and their activity bus is a great bonus making group trips easy.  Dennis the bus driver brings value to experience. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 20 days. The manager that works the front helped tremendously to accommodate us near the bathroom. They clean the showers and restrooms every day! The gentleman that works there,  you’ll see in that area is very kind. The ladies that clean the bathrooms are super nice as well. The area is beautiful and quiet. Will be staying here again!

Great friendly RV park.  Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained.  We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.

3,000 miles of our trip this past August in Canada was with 15amps of power if we were lucky so it was a breath of fresh air arriving at this KOA with every site being full hookup most with 50amp, grass at every site, wifi for everyone to stream, 2 seperate huge dog parks and I heard they were moving the camp store to a larger location deeper in the park for 2026.  I was very impressed for it being the Northern Most KOA.  Don't even get me started on the northern lights! We will be back

We usually boondock all summer, but being so late in the season, we opted to enjoy hookups and clean hot showers! We are so greatful we chose to stay here! The new owner was very friendly and helpful and we can tell he takes pride in the campground! We appreciate the wonderful stay and will be back if we find ourselves around Fairbanks again.

Convenience to Fairbanks. Consistent services and cleanliness. Site backed into woods and was more private. I see they are now monetizing privacy levels which is smart. The showers are separate from the bathrooms but in same building.  But the showers have no plug so after the shower if you want to sue a hair dryer you have to walk around the building to the bathrooms which is ok just need to plan for it. Having unisex showers individually has pros and cons. Privacy yes but if you need other things like an outlet or toilet not so convenient.  There was a waste basket In the shower and I put the hair i removed from the drain there, but would have been nice to have something to grab it with like tissue paper. Plenty of hooks which is appreciated and a bench. The shelves in the shower stall were kinda small and narrow but held most of my products. Shower curtains had bears and moose which were fun. Bathrooms were also very clean and I thanked and  complimented the cleaning woman on the cleanliness. She was working hard.

This was a great location for us to use as a base camp while seeing some of the areas and going up to the Arctic Circle. We had a deluxe patio site that was fantastic. They have a great playground for kids, several dog areas, games on the deck by the Chena River, and swings you can sit on and enjoy the river. Bathrooms were very clean. Showers were great too. I did several loads of laundry. They have plenty of washing machines and dryers. It is $4.00 to wash and $3.25 to dry. There is a gift shop and food items in the office.  I love that they keep you informed as to when they are closing for lunch and a reminder before they close at night so you can get those last minute items you might need. The staff is amazing and so very nice. I loved chatting with them. This is the Northernmost KOA. Hopefully we will get to visit Alaska again and we will definitely stay here. Thanks for a great stay!!

The KOA is a very nice place to use as a base to explore Fairbanks.  The sites are level and while close they are not cramped like other KOA campgrounds can be.

The restrooms and showers are clean and I really appreciate the effort it takes to keep them clean.  Laundry facilities are clean, spacious and all of machines were working.

The grounds of the campground are very nice and the staff I encountered were very friendly which makes for a comfortable stay.

Great location right outside Fairbanks. Full hookups. Beautiful sites. Laundry and shower facilities are very clean. Laundry was inexpensive. On the Chena River with picnic tables and swings. My kids loved the playground which was clean and looked new. We played the giant Jenga game by the river. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We are taking reservations for 2022. Folks have been waiting two years to get to Alaska so we expect it to be extra busy and reservations will be required. Our anticipated opening date will be May 15, 2022

This place is a convenient store, they also make sandwiches and have pull tabs.

Great place to camp for a while. Pricing was awesome, Full hookups, place to let the kids run free also had on site showers, laundry and bathrooms.

This campground is really nice and very clean. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen in a campground with no bad smells. I would give 5 stars but I feel like the price is just a tad bit too high. Beautiful park next to the river. Would recommend.
