Robert's Roost RV Park
Overview
Overview
Travelers rolling through southwestern Utah often drop anchor at Robert's Roost RV Park in Hurricane, Utah. Positioned in the scenic Washington County desert corridor, this property serves as a practical basecamp for motorists exploring the distinct red rock country. The immediate area features wide-open desert vistas and dramatic sandstone cliffs under the expansive Utah sky.
Location & Surroundings
Approaching via State Route 9, visitors encounter a landscape defined by volcanic ridges and arid plateaus. The climate here is characterized by hot summers and mild, clear winters, making it a popular year-round destination. Situated just off the main artery heading toward Zion National Park, the setting places rigs within striking distance of the region's famous geological formations while maintaining a distinct small-town desert atmosphere.
Amenities & Park Features
Because specific on-site amenities and hookup configurations are not universally documented, guests should verify details directly before arrival. When planning a stay here, travelers typically need to confirm site dimensions, power availability, and water hookups. Contacting the park office beforehand ensures that your specific rig length and slide-out requirements can be safely accommodated upon arrival.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The surrounding region provides endless outdoor recreation for road-trippers and adventure seekers. Zion National Park sits just a short drive up the highway, offering world-class canyon hiking and scenic drives. Additionally, visitors can explore the waters of Sand Hollow State Park for boating and OHV riding, or head into nearby St. George for dining, shopping, and cultural events.
Who This Park Is Best For
This location suits road-trippers looking for a strategic stopover between major Southwest landmarks. It works well for visitors who want to spend their days hiking sandstone trails or riding off-road vehicles rather than lingering around an RV resort. Active travelers and nature photographers will appreciate the central access to Utah's most dramatic red rock terrain.

This isn’t even an rv park and the phone number that they advertise everywhere is probably a no working number cause anytime I’ve called it in the past three years it just rings. You can never get ahold of anyone so I’m not sure how they always keep it rented out

Lot rental too high, please don't force out your nice residents and ruin the community out of greed. 5 star residents at 1 star rentals. Keeping your residents will be way more cost savings to you, the park owners, in the short and long run. You will reap what you sow and keep your kind community.
