We love this resort so much that we stopped back on our way home. The sites are concrete with a fire ring, rocking chairs and FHU. The views of the mountains are beautiful. The resort is very quiet and peaceful too! The best part of this resort are the people. The owner’s Lisa and Jimmy are kind, caring and treat you like family. The town of Ruidoso offers lots of shopping opportunities, history sites to explore and good restaurants.

We just wrapped up a month long stay at RMR and as we’ve moved on to our next destination, we sorely miss the peace and tranquility of this place. It’s a beautiful property that emphasizes nature with large level concrete sites, elevated long range views, fire pits and rocking chairs. The only sound is that of nature, which is abundant. Deer and Elk are daily visitors along with the occasional horse. Combined with true love and southern hospitality from its owners, this place is one of a kind. This area gets a lot of news about flooding from last year’s burn scar and folks considering going should very much go. Our experience was that an afternoon quick thunderstorm could spark some temporary flooding in very localized areas of Ruidoso, particularly the upper canyon outside of town and the horse track where water would back up. In most cases it was over and cleaned up in 30 minutes with the exception of horse events. Otherwise, downtown and all of the surrounding areas are perfectly fine and operating normally as they always have and full of business. RMR and the roads in are not impacted at all so definitely add this to your visit list!

Awesome luxury motorcoach resort. The owners are the nicest people and really take a lot of care of the place. It is always perfectly clean and manicured and there other campers are always so nice. We come any time we are in the area.
