We love this resort so much that we stopped back on our way home. The sites are concrete with a fire ring, rocking chairs and FHU. The views of the mountains are beautiful. The resort is very quiet and peaceful too! The best part of this resort are the people. The owner’s Lisa and Jimmy are kind, caring and treat you like family. The town of Ruidoso offers lots of shopping opportunities, history sites to explore and good restaurants.

Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch is a hidden gem in the mountains of NM! The owners Jimmy & Lisa are the epitome of customer service. The layout of the sites are perfect and plenty wide for your big rig. And, I must say the views are spectacular! The solitide and peaceful atmosphere will grant one to get plenty of rest.

This is an amazing place to stay. The hosts Jimmy and Lisa have been so helpful and caring. The views are worth a million dollars. I have never felt so at peace. Please check them out! You won’t regret it.

We just wrapped up a month long stay at RMR and as we’ve moved on to our next destination, we sorely miss the peace and tranquility of this place. It’s a beautiful property that emphasizes nature with large level concrete sites, elevated long range views, fire pits and rocking chairs. The only sound is that of nature, which is abundant. Deer and Elk are daily visitors along with the occasional horse. Combined with true love and southern hospitality from its owners, this place is one of a kind. This area gets a lot of news about flooding from last year’s burn scar and folks considering going should very much go. Our experience was that an afternoon quick thunderstorm could spark some temporary flooding in very localized areas of Ruidoso, particularly the upper canyon outside of town and the horse track where water would back up. In most cases it was over and cleaned up in 30 minutes with the exception of horse events. Otherwise, downtown and all of the surrounding areas are perfectly fine and operating normally as they always have and full of business. RMR and the roads in are not impacted at all so definitely add this to your visit list!

Awesome luxury motorcoach resort. The owners are the nicest people and really take a lot of care of the place. It is always perfectly clean and manicured and there other campers are always so nice. We come any time we are in the area.

If you are looking for relaxation this is the place! Even the dogs were relaxed! Peaceful and quiet during the day and night. Perfectly dark sky’s if you are an astronomer. Brought my telescope and was amazed! Got the best spot #17. Overlooks the nature trail with daily visits from the deer. Owners are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

Just spent a week at Ruidoso Motorcoach resort in Alta, NM and I have to say that we will definitely be back. The owners went over the top with 5 star service- they called us the evening prior to our arrival to let us know of some closed roads due to flash flooding the day before. They even had alternative routes available as a suggestion and kept in touch with us the next day on the status of the roads. (This was not in Alta but along our route). Their sites are level and we had no problem with room for our tow. The wildlife here is everywhere, even just feet from our coach and within the city of Ruidoso. There were some fires during the summer which scared off some RV’ers but RMR was not affected at all. Showers and laundry were clean ($3 each for washer and dryer- bring bills only) and it is just a really well maintained property- so beautiful! Trash pickup daily, fire pit and patio chairs provided and we enjoyed the trails too. Owners are very responsive to any needs. If you are wanting a relaxing, peaceful and tranquil place this is definitely the place to stay.

First class RV park! Beautiful location and the park has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners take great care of this resort and it shows. Having RO water was amazing! Will return for sure.

This beautiful Class A gated resort, nestled on a mountain ridge in Alto, New Mexico near Ruidoso is a wonderful place to stay. There is not one site that doesn’t have a spectacular view. Having coffee in the morning and happy hour in the evening with the wildlife was lovely. Be sure and check out the nature trail when you come! There are so many things to do in the surrounding area (wineries, shopping, White Sands, historic Lincoln to name a few), so the location of this beautiful place is perfect. Owners Jimmy and Lisa are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. You can see the pride of ownership in the beautifully maintained grounds, and they could not be more accommodating. This is not our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last.

Very high end. Nice paved sites and roads. Top quality water. All sites overlook s large open area that is home to deer and elk. Have stayed here in the past. It is $$$, but you are away from the crowds and have nice amenities at each site.

We have stayed at this Class A resort a few times now. Everything is top notch. Working with Lisa, Jimmy or John is easy and they are very accommodating. The location, camp layout, level sites, beautiful clubhouse, etc are all wonderful. Having stayed at a number of RV camps and a few RV Class A resorts, this is the best I have found to date. Well worth trying if you have a Class A.
