I recently contacted S&H campground to use their mobile rv repair service for a leaking toilet in my camper. Over the phone they stated the price would be $149 for the first hour and they hoped they could fix it within that time frame. No other charges were mentioned during this call, however, when I checked my bank account they had actually charged me $248.00. When I asked about the additional charge, they stated that it was a $90 "trip fee" for about an 8 minute drive. This was never mentioned to me during the call or by the technician who came out. They stated they would refund the $90, but I have yet to see that. This was after the technician left without fixing the toilet because he didn't have the part he needed. I decided I would get the required part and put it on because he said it was just an issue with the hose clamp and I could just put that on myself. The technician said if this did not fix the issue, he would return without charge and fix whatever the remaining issue was. This did not fix the problem so I called S&H back to have the tech come back out to fix it. The woman on the phone stated this would cost another $250 to come back out. I reminded her the tech said he would come for free so they did not charge the $250 but stated they would need to charge me for the part. They charged me $100 for a water valve kit, which I could have bought for a much lower price anywhere else. The tech came out and fixed the issue but overall this was a headache and it doesn't sound like I'm getting my money back. I could have replaced my entire toilet for the cost of this service. I will mention the tech was very nice and I had no issues with him.

I’m living here in our RV. Though a significant change from 5000sq feet to a 44’ rv has been interesting to say the least. Jay and his staff have made it easier and are very accommodating.. Thanks Jay and S&H!! Yall rock!

Great place for a single person or a family to stay. Staff is very helpful and always pleasant. They have fun for the hole family from 3 years old to teenagers if they are out side kids they will love it. I have been here for 8 months and have not had any issues with theft privacy or party people. The owner has made it the type of place you can leave your camper unlocked and not have to worry about things missing when you get back.

We had a group event there, and staff members were great about reservations and such for multiple campers. While they weren't able to get us all completely adjacent, we were all very close to each other. We ordered a pile of pizzas from the restaurant on the hill; they were great to work with and tasted great too. While we had a lot of activities planned for the group on our sites, the family stuff for the kids up at the playground was an added bonus.

Our family stayed here on a whim due to just getting our camper. We were able to call and get a spot for Labor Day weekend. All staff was very nice and accommodating. The entire weekend was so great. Our kids all had the best time. Our 3 year old was very sad when it was time to hook up and leave. All the activities to do and live music to sit and listen to was so nice. We felt like we weren’t even in our home state of Indiana. It was like a vacation resort. We will definitely be back an and h. To your staff the cherry family thanks you!! Until next time.

We can’t say enough about how much we love this place! Our kids have an absolute blast at the family fun park and splashing around in the pool. Julie always goes above and beyond, organizing exciting activities on the weekends, and the whole staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway!

Nicest folks from the office to grounds keepers. I was on the hill in the back by the market for a month. The ONLY negative... When it rains the camp spot holds water bad. OK past that.... This site is Amazing!! Any and everything you could want and ask for. Grown folks to kiddos... Go stay 1 weekend and you will go back for many more. We wouldn't have left if it wasn't for my job relocating me. We will be back if we make it to that side of America again.

They are doing rebuilding. But my family really enjoyed it and the kids even put their phones down and explored the campground. Pool was closed but we knew that going it closed labor day weekend. Put-put was free. And the family fun center was only $10 per kid

Do not give this place money up front…. They only do in house credit. I came in town to for work. Was told I was going to be there a while. Paid $1600 up front for a months stay. Called on a Friday morning and was going to come in on Wednesday. Plans changed and was being relocated elsewhere and called Friday afternoon to cancel and get a refund. Was told buy office lady they can’t get me a refund because they only do in house credit. Remember, I’ve never signed anything nor stepped a foot on the property. Called the owner over and over. Finally a few weeks later got a call back and he said he would look into it and call me back the next morning. Have yet to hear from anyone and that was about a month ago. Steer clear of these crooks.

From the moment you enter, all of the staff are very kind, friendly, and help with any question, need, or want to ensure your stay goes as smooth as possible. All rules and regulations are met. It is beautiful and kept very clean. The bathhouses are nice and clean. There is a playground, amusement attractions for the kids, bands, solo musicians and more. They have an activity center, a market place with great food as well as pop, water, and other goodies available.You can dine in or out on a couple patios if you like. All the staff in there are very nice. It was very clean as well. The attractions have slides, a rockwall, and trampolines to name a few. All the staff are trained for each station to ensure the kid's safety. All are maintained very well and checked for any safety issues. Camping sites are kept up. There is plenty of room for each camper. Just all around a great place to camp!

Super fun and friendly campgrounds. Great place for kids of all ages. The activities are fun. However - As of 2020 the cabins are in need of new beds, and the restroom (portable restroom trailer) on the creek side is in need of replacement. As of 2021, the prices have increased and the family fun park is no longer included when camping. There are many other nearby campgrounds that are updated and are very similar in price... Unfortunately given the needs of repair verses the price increases we have considered staying else where in the future.
