Sabal Palm RV Resort in Palmdale, FL | Relaxing Nature Stay

I was very comfortable there and instantly felt at home. I spent a year there and only left because I moved to the Philippines.
I'm sure you will enjoy your stay there!

Spent 5 yrs and meet some great people. Management is awful hillbillies who do t care about the park only a pay Check. Has become so run down. Bad water poor septic road are dangerous ect.
Most activities are done and set up by the resident that live there. The park has no activity fund from the park all raised by 50/50 raffles. They evict people for asking questions. At least 15 people have left this year due to poor management and lack of up keep. They don't hesitate to up there prices every year and do little.

Last review is not telling the truth. We stayed there 5 years never felt comfortable management constantly yells and curses at you they do not know how to manage should definitely be fired. There's a couple of Canadians that work there that steel gas and food and then blame everybody else .they cook food and then serve leftover 3 or 4 times someone is going to get sick. Just this year alone they ran 12 full time customers off don't think owner knows what is going on.

This is a very relaxing RV park if you just want to relax. However if you can’t sit still, you can join in the many activities planned. From water aerobics in the mornings, to Pétanque several nights a week. How about two nights a week of bingo. Then there is Corn Hole if that’s your preference. Want more? Pot lucks, spaghetti dinners, dances. There is golfing and a mini putt course. All spread out in a well set up park. Sites are spacious, lots of trees throughout. Ponds. You would have to come here to enjoy it all. Oh and before I forget… there is an ice cream train. Yep a train that goes around the park you can grab an ice cream and take ride.

This is our 4th year in the park. It's gone from a beautiful family like park to a now decrepit, poorly managed, unorganized park owned by professionals who couldn't care less about it's outcome as long as the money is coming in! The rent keeps going up every year despite the lack of maintenance to roads, landscaping, water quality, sewage problems to name a few! Park manager refuses to mow the "want-to-be" golf course so a few golfers in the park are paying out of their own pockets to have a resident who owns a landscaping company to mow!!! Don't even bother trying to contact the owners! You can only speak to a secretary who will "relay your message" only to quiet you!!!!

For many years we have made Sabal Palm RV Resort our winter home. The sites are generously sized and the common areas are clean and well maintained. It's central location protects it from hurricanes, yet it is only a short drive to either coast and the beaches. Shopping is conveniently close. What really draws us back, however,  is the sense of community that the Resort fosters, thanks to the kind of people it attracts.

Not what it use to be under the old management. New owners and management are running the place into the ground. What was a good place to come is now a lot of unhappy campers 

Very nice campground. Nice pool. Beautiful dog park. Love seeing the horses, goats and donkeys. Pretty landscape. Update campground review. They just went up $480 for a annual guest. After the first year we learned how the campground works. During the summertime their really is no activities. During the winter the snowbirds put on the activities which most of them are during the week. If you are looking for a very quiet campground this is the place. Like a cemetery with a pool, small miniature golf and a hot game room. No air.

Very friendly people, very clean campground, laundry room is spotless.
Pet friendly,  decent space between sites. Lots of amenities.  First night here, Dave (neighbor) told us about a campground breakfast that we should attend in the AM. It was so nice and welcoming. Dave is an awesome guy, definitely made us feel like we were part of the group. 
There is a pool here, clean and well maintained, but I think it should be bigger or have a second pool. The only reason I gave Sable Palm 4 stars and not 5 is the location. The resort is located 20 miles from anything.  Lots of farms in the immediate area and empty fields. Definitely peaceful and relaxing.  Thank you for a great week.

Amazing quiet and manicured 😊 swim in the heated pool. Play mini golf. Use the exercise room. Play pool. Pentaque. Shuffle board basketball. Corn hole. Horse shoes. Feed the horses. Cows. Goats. Ponies. Donkeys. They all need treats. In high season, they havea 9 hole executive course, trap shooting. Music. Events. Bingo. Weenie roasts. Pig roasts. A ton to do ;-)

Love this Rv Resort it is so relaxing.  Everyone is like family and it is a safe place to stay at.

Currently staying at this wonderful park. Between the owners, people and amenities you just can’t go wrong. Plenty to do, heated pool, free wifi, games room. 
Clubhouse with always plenty going on. A definite do over once you have been here. 

An amazing quiet place to stay..62 acres with horses, ponies, goats and cows..train rides, heated pool.. large sites some shaded and some on waterfront sites :-), plenty to do here..16 miles from labelle so plan your shopping trips :-))



I would think twice about going to this campground, unless the managers have been replaced, (Greg, Beth Shearer) We have never seen such unprofessional managers ever in all the campgrounds we have been to.  Believe me they will lie to get rid of you, if they don't get their way.  Sad way to conduct business.  Just can't be trusted.
