We have been loyal customers of this spa for over 10 years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. When we checked in, we were charged the full admission price for our family, but no one informed us that the policy had changed and that children were no longer allowed in the hot tubs. We noticed other families with children using them as well, so we had no reason to think we were doing anything wrong. Our children were shocked and frightened by the way she spoke to us- this new manager Cheryl .No family should have to experience being treated that way, especially when the issue was simply a policy that had never been communicated to us. If your policies have changed, inform your guests before charging them full price. Treating loyal customers with disrespect and creating a scene in front of their children is unacceptable. We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and with no desire to return. By the way last time they lost my husband’s driver license and were rude bot even saying sorry to us!🤦🏼‍♀️

I am very disappointed with my experience at this property. The overall cleanliness is far below expectations—both the pools and bathrooms were visibly dirty, and the surrounding areas appear neglected and poorly maintained. Additionally, the customer service was lacking. The staff did not come across as welcoming or helpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. The reception area felt disorganized and unprofessional, not reflecting the standards one would expect. The property itself does not match the images on the website. While the photos suggest a well-maintained and attractive location, the reality is quite the opposite, with noticeable issues in upkeep and overall quality. I also observed what seemed to be low staff morale, which may be contributing to the poor service. This creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for guests and raises concerns about management practices. Overall, I would not recommend this property based on my experience. Significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service are needed.

Most amazing spa ever. The location of the hotel is extremly central. Not far from grocery stores, restaurunts and the city. Most welcoming staff ever. They took us on golfcarts to our room, welcomed us with fresh water bottles. My friends and I booked a spa and the masseuse was extremly welcoming and soothing. It was one of the best massages ive ever gotten. The natural hot springs are a must try. Water was Hot and extremly soothing and helped soothe my eczema. Sauna was one of the cleanest and best saunas ive ever been in. And the rooms were fantastic with great air conditioning and comfortable beds.

Always an amazing time at Sam’s. Perfect place to relax and recharge. We especially loved our tiny home and all the little touches like clothing drawer space and lots of drawers in the bathroom and kitchen for storage. AC worked great and the picnic table to eat outside on was lovely for breakfast. The pools are well maintained and the price for the location is hard to beat. If I’m ever back for Coachella, definitely staying at Sam’s. (Actually, maybe even sooner. I miss the palm trees and mineral pools already.) Thank you Sam’s for everything!
