Thought I'd update .
We use to stay here all the time
Been a couple years now asmr I'm sad to say the lady that runs this place is not to good at hosting. And her Lil dog is vicious
The toilets were disgusting catgrouds were fairly clean, but i'm sure everybody cleans up after them selfs the i'm very disappointed to say the host was very rude i will not be coming back i will find a new place surprisingly, cause it used to be hard to get a spot here. Always booked this time not even halfway full. I could see why

Nice campground with clean toilets, fire pits.  Suited for tent or trailer/rv.  Good spots right off of the reservoir for fishing, and plenty of hiking in the area too.

Well maintained by Butch, the kindest groundskeeper. The views are beautiful and each site has one. Avg $27/night with table benches and fire pit at each site.

Great campground - loved the premium spot that overlooked the lake! Water is cold but still enjoyable, nice spot to fish/canoe/kayak. I would recommend being prepared for spotty cell reception.

Spent 2 nights in this National Forest Campground. It offers nice shady (forested) back in spaces, firepit and picnic tables.  The location is beautiful, right on Lake Vallectio. Spaces are clean, and easy to access. We stayed in a spot with no electric or water but a water fill station is very close by. I don't think any of the spots offer electric.   The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The campground host Derek was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks

Campground Hosts ,the Wheelers, kept the grounds very clean. The vault toilets were cleaned several times a day and always smelled fresh. We saw several deer 🦌 in the campground the two nights we were there.

The camp hosts are AMAZING(Terry & Candie)!! Very friendly, always on top of keeping facilities and sites clean. Just great people all around!! Kid friendly area. Lots of fun to be had and great memories!!! Beautiful views from various campsites.

Outstanding staff, beautiful sites, reasonable prices.

Well maintained, pleasant campground.  Water down in vallecito but spirits up!

The camp hosts were great place was clean, don't go if absolute quiet is what you're looking for.
