Only been here once. Nicely kept grounds, beautiful oak trees, plenty areas for picnicking, strolling. Enjoyed walking dogs with friends visiting from out of town. They enjoyed park as well!👍🏽👍🏽🌳🐕

Great day with the county workers who participated in "The Artist Inside" workshop.

Stayed one night at San Lorenzo County Park Campground. Reservation was made and paid over the phone without any issues. The campsite itself was decent—partial hookup site for about $51+, and the site condition was good. Unfortunately, the bathroom and shower facilities were a major disappointment. The restroom and showers were padlocked at 5 PM with no instructions posted, and we had to walk to the camp host just to get the code. Inside, there was only one handicap shower with normal water flow. The other three showers require you to continuously press a button to keep the water running, which is extremely inconvenient. The shower curtains barely cover the stalls, offering very little privacy, and several were dirty with visible stains. The bathroom floors were dusty and dirty, making the facilities feel neglected. Good campsites, but the restroom and shower situation seriously lowers the overall experience. This campground could be much better with basic maintenance, cleanliness, and clearer access to facilities.

We stop here on our way South for a lunch break. Portable toilets. They have closed the fixed ones. Probably for budgetary reasons. Still a nice spot to stop.

The reservations demand a 50$ deposit. They will keep it if you leave a little bit trash behind after your stay. Be aware of that.

One of my favorite parks. I was raised in King City so it definitely holds a special place in my heart.

San Lorenzo County Park is a well-maintained green space offering camping, picnic areas, and walking trails. The grounds are clean and spacious, making it a great stop for travelers looking for a peaceful retreat. The agricultural museum on-site provides insight into local farming history, adding an educational element to the visit. The camping facilities include RV hookups and tent sites, with restrooms and showers available. Visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere and shaded areas, though weekend crowds can make certain spots busier. The park’s accessibility and well-kept amenities make it a reliable choice for both short and extended stays.

Wow what a great park. Came just to eat a sandwich during a drive but amazed at how much it has to offer with all the museums and the river and the RV park. Will definitely come back.

Great County park with many nice pull through RV sites. Picnic table and barbecue at each site. Clean, well maintained, and dog friendly. We were here for a midweek overnight, so the museums weren’t open. We will be back!

It has an awesome LARPers event there about every six months it's a must for any gamer looking for more exercise and a really good time. There's always nice people at them and everyone is very welcoming

Happened upon this place by chance. There is an indoor museum (free, consider donations) , playground, park, outdoor museum. Must see place in an area where there is not much to do.
