Beautiful location with spacious sites, well treed, clean, not too close to neighbours. The only downside is you have to rely on park staff to deliver firewood and sometimes you can be waiting for a while before they come along but you do get decent sized bundles when they do show up. Best to stock up when you have the opportunity if you’re planning on having a fire going for a while.

Lovely campground, most of the sites are very good. We had no problem with getting our 35 ' 5th wheel trailer into either of the three sites that we stayed in over 1 week and a few days. Sadly the only reason for the 4/5 star rating is because this campground, like so many others, allows people to book up all the weekends whether they show up or not, making it impossible to stay at pretty much any site longer than 4 or 5 days in a row without having to move to another site, luckily for us the campground staff allowed us to move to the equestrian side of the camp ground for the weekend. This is the only complaint I have. I honestly feel that they shouldn't allow weekend only reservations. And they must lose money because we would have stayed for 2 weeks if we wouldn't have faced having to relocate within the campground for a 4th time. Wonderful, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings♡

Great campground, close proximity to great trails, waterfalls and activities. Well treed at times we felt like we were alone in the full campground. We had site B-35. Nice dump station. No Cell Service Rogers or Telus.

I really loved this campground and how the sites had seperation and privacy. Even if you could see other peoples campers with some sites, it was positioned in a way where you would just see the back end of the camper and wouldn't have to have daily picnics with eachother ha-ha. It is quite nice to have a location where there is zero phone and internet connection, so you can just disconnect from the virtual world. Makes me really miss the days where you had to be home in order to get a phonecall or sit in front of the internet and you had to be creative to stay entertained. You do have powered sites here, potable water and sewer dumping stations (4 to be exact). Showers are here too and shower tokens cost $3 each and gives you about 6 mins of shower time each coin. Wood was $15 a bag and was in those bags you can get at any gas station... So load up before you go if you find a better price. The parks person would drive by the camp sites about twice a day and you would get your shower tokens and wood from them. The area is beautiful, private and full of wild life. I would definitely come back here again!

Beautiful location with well laid out camp sites in Loop B. The sites have 30/15 amp power only. There are no sewer and potable water within the sites. Potable water is available at certain points within the Loop or at the dump station Toilets are well located throughout the Loop. There are four dump stations that are well setup. The 5 Star rating is for.the campsite and for the Alberta Parks staff who are very friendly and helpful. Now for the negative, it seems certain dog owners have the inability to manage their dogs. This definitely annoyed many of us including those with dogs that are well socialized and mannered.

This campsite is a diamond in the rough. It's so beautiful, nestled in the foothills of Kananaskis, it's general proximity to Calgary makes this campsite an excellent choice for a longer stay. You also have the amenities of Turner Valley and Black Diamond within 20 min.

Beautiful place. The sites are powered and have great space. We were easily able to fit our trailer and two vehicles into the space. The campground was clean and well kept. The outhouses were always stocked and clean and there’s a decent amount in the area. The showers had nice hot water (you do need to purchase coins from the park rangers). The area is beautiful and peaceful. No reception; unless you go for a little walk. We really loved our stay there.
