I’ve been going there for many years and I’m pretty disappointed on how things are run now, and I know other campers feel the same way. The managers spend more time partying with the campers than they are taking care of the place the way they should. They are strict on campers when they aren’t abiding to the rules themselves. They allow dogs to stay after attacking other dogs at the campground. They ran out of toilet paper in the bathrooms numerous times, and they failed to refill them and couldn’t be found to fix the situation. The gate was broken all summer, and security was very limited. There were also many times people were walking around smoking marijuana during their functions throughout the summer. Unfortunately after many years spent here, I’ve finally decided I won’t be returning. What started off as my favorite place to spend my summers has sadly turned into a nightmare after they changed management.

Really sad to see this place go downhill. I’ve been staying here every year since I was a child- I’m in my 30s now- and until the last couple of years it has been amazing. The new owners have completely let it go. The employees don’t seem happy, the grounds are not clean, there are now signs everywhere about cameras in use and private property and the pond water has a smell and there are drunks everywhere. It’s as if they don’t enforce any rules or care. I don’t enjoy swimming with trash or sitting on a beach with bottles and cans and inhaling cigarette smoke. My family won’t be going back.

This was our first year with a seasonal site after coming here for the last few years. We always loved this campground but the new management has been amazing! They’re making so many improvements and they have awesome activities and food trucks every weekend for the kids and adults. And everyone is so helpful and super nice! We absolutely love it here!!!

We are Seasonal Campers at Sandy Pond. This has been a fantastic season! Sean and Randi (new management) have done an excellent job in providing fun activities for both adults and children. The campground is well maintained and the bathrooms and showers have been renovated and look brand new. Some of the seasonal highlights are the themed potlucks, water wars, adult only scavenger hunt, weekly LRC games. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you give this campground a try as it is a hidden gem that is minutes from the Cape Cod canal and easily accessible to downtown Plymouth.

We had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites are nice. The adjoining pond is very nice also, but seemingly devoid of fish, or maybe i'm just not a good fisherman. it's a great pond for swimming, nice sandy, bottom clear water and the beach is well maintained. They also have one paddle board and a bunch of kayaks and canoes. I feel they should probably invest in a few more paddle boards because they're very popular now, maybe they had some issues with theft. there's also a swamp behind one camping area where I got some great pictures of damsel flies and dragonflies little kids would love to go down there to catch frogs. the only small inconvenience I experienced was in the bathrooms, where there is no bench for you, to sit on to change. Put the free hot water and the very clean upkeep of the bathroom more than makes up for it. Although it would be hard for an elderly or someone with balance issues to change. overall, I would highly recommend this to friends and family. Great location sandwich between Plymouth and the cape.

This was a great place to stay! The managers were super accommodating in our late arrival and even opened the gate so that it was easier for us to get in with are large 35' rig. We will be back someday when we make our trip back across country.

We have be coming here for a few years and this campground is perfect for families with children, lots to do. Great place to just sit back and relax too. The manager Pam is awesome, professional and a great help. Her staff is friendly and helpful as well. Grounds are well kept as are showers etc… Location is perfect, close to shopping and easy access to Cap Cod and the island ferries, a real nice campground

This is a quaint little campground that is very well taken care of. As some reviews said, it does need some updating and some trees trimmed. However, this campground has an amazing community with the seasonal campers. We stayed for a week and quickly became friends with many, and everyone helps keep an eye out on children. 10/10 would stay again. Some big perks to this camp ground, is that it is affordable, within 30 minute drive of beautiful ocean beaches, the ferry to Marthas Vineyard. Has a great store right outside the campground that you can easily walk to. The employees are extremely friendly. And on weekends it seems they set up fun activities such as this awesome bubble trailer party that showed up!

Our site, like most here, was so unlevel that our jacks were barely able to level our camper. The site had not been mowed in weeks. This campground is very old and desperately needs a refresh with an excavator and bulldozer to level sites. Having said that it is clean and large enough for daily walking. We paid $20 extra for our dog but the bags at the doggie station were empty the entire weekend. There is a great general store just outside.

Dates: April 18-21, 2024. We loved it here - our first time & we will be back. It's early in the season but we love April camping. The woman in the office was very nice & accommodated us wanting to switch sites so we could have a better flow with the other family we were camping with. A lot of great trails on the property and the kids had a great time at the playground & jumpy pillow. Too early for the pond but we walked down there & it looks nice. It was a great kick off to the Camping season!

Great store in the woods with beer and wine too. No hard liquor. Has deli with lots of yummy stuff. And outdoor seating is a plus.

Great chill campground. They have a few horseshoe pits, small fishing pond, and some short trails way out back. Good for a quick jog or bike. Nice and quiet. The store up front is very stocked. Everything you need and then some.

We love this place! The atmosphere is so friendly, and laid back. I’m on the back end of a 3 month stay here and really hope to get a seasonal site moving forward. Sandy Pond Campground is clean, friendly, and fun. It’s so great to watch my kids ride off on their bikes and enjoy the summer!

We have a 43 ft fifth wheel toy hauler and stayed two weeks. Sites are dirt but with room and trees. Nice pond with sandy beach and roped off swimming area. You can rent golf carts during your stay and there are biking trails. Kids have playground and huge jumping pad. Laundry room with four washers and four dryers. Really nice store, deli and grill on site!

Pond was fun. Renting the golf cart was fun, found some trails that went around the little pond. The kids had a blast at the jumping pillow. Very basic campground, sites were good sized. The tent area had lots of wooded tent sites right on the water, they looked really nice.
