We stayed 3 nights at Sandy River. Very clean and well maintained. Great manager (maybe owner). Will stay here again

The old lady in the front desk is very unfriendly. Acts as if she’s “better than you” for whatever reason. They also cater to non full-timers in hopes to get more money out of people that stop for a night or two? Not sure but doesn’t seem like a good business model. If you are looking to stay for a few months for work I recommend you look elsewhere!

Well managed. Sites are paved and pretty level, but close to eachother as expected in private campgrounds. Some are shaded. Decent free WiFi, enough for streaming movies. 3 miles to blue line train station to downtown Portland and 30 minutes drive to Columbia gorge. Walking distance to coffee and food pods. Close to railway tracks with some train noise. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Laundromat. Need to get tokens from office. Park with few trails across the enterance.

This park is clean, has lots of trees, fairly large sites, everything we need. You have access to the river, can walk across the street to a nice ice cream and sandwich shop, and is five minutes from the freeway and shopping. There are quite a few full timers, which is perfectly fine with me. Very nice residents and visitors.

We loved our riverfront site at Sandy Riverfront! Beautiful spot, our Starlink internet worked perfectly on the pole, and we even saw seals in the river from our window. Lots of trails connected to the park, and a wonderful small restaurant within walking distance. There is transportation noise (trains/private planes/helicopters), but it didn't really bother us because the setting otherwise is perfect. As others mentioned, the laundry is also fairly restrictive with having to get tokens when the office is open. Just required more planning.

I was fortunately able to speak wit Charlamaine (sp?) And reserve a site before the office closed. Wat a hoot she was. Hooked me up with the best site on the property and laughed with me the whole time despite her computer being down... Char, you went above and beyond, thank you Gorgeos location and RV park btw

Called to try to book a stay at this facility but was denied due to my service dog I am a Gulf War veteran and my service dog is a German Shepherd (Dog of Valor) she stated that they are a privately owned facility and their insurance company has an aggressive dog list I've heard of this before but have never been denied. The Fair Housing Act states that a service dog can be any breed but they do have a protocol that if my dog exhibits aggressive behavior then I could be denied. But to be told that I will not be allowed to stay because of my service dog is a first... I will definitely follow up with FHA

Booking was easy. Office has been very helpful though out visit. Beautiful location on Sandy river. Beautiful parks near by and lots of waterfalls 15 minutes East on 84. Active railroad tracks very close by was my only complaint. But technically I slept through it, the wife had problems with it. Recommend sites on river as the views are amazing to wake up to. Sites are large on all sites here.
