Rather modest, yet clean and surprisingly comfortable. Accommodating staff, too. And good value.

Stayed at the Motel for one night, room was clean and spacious, owner very friendly and accommodating. Located close to the sand dunes. Floor is uneven und the building seems to be tilted, but that didn’t bother us or inconvenience our stay.

Its like schitts creek but I'm sure their motel is better!! I was absolutely grossed out from the moment I opened my door.. the smell was over powering of mildew and mold.. had to get christmas tree airfreshers.. the floor was so unlevel.. bed was loud and I didn't get out of my clothes.. the next day I tried to make coffee.. cups were not in any kind of wrapping.. the creamer I got one and sugars.i got two. The other package was opened already and rock hard!! The signs were dirty. Dead bugs on the curtains.. a nasty yellow liquid was dripping from the ceiling. Don't get my going on the shower!! I cleaned it myself with disinfecting wipes and they came out.black.. not worth the stay or the price.. the yurts down the road are 62$ dollars.

Don't understand the low reviews at all. Motel room was absolutely charming, had a nice little sofa, desk to work at, coffee maker with tea, microwave and fridge, fast enough wifi, plenty of shower supplies, and a dated looking but unbelievably comfortable bed. Also liked the nice space heater after a chilly 12 hour motorcycle ride. Check in lady was very friendly, this was the best night sleep I've had in my two week road trip. Only potential downsides are the shower cubicle was small, so if you're particularly "well fed" you might be cramped. Was fine for me though. That, and there is occasional road noise from the stupid trucks that roll down 101 all night, so earplugs should be on hand. Other thought is that in late summer the temp was lovely and the heater was used, but if it's peak summer scorcher, be mindful the room lacked AC and a fan. For $90 after tax, I couldn't be happier. Will absolutely earmark this place for a future visit!
