Nice camping ground. Just remember there is no cell phone signals up there. Bring some form of protection because running into wild animals is a possibility. It can also get very windy up there so no cheap pop up tents, only bring the camping equipment that's sturdy and reliable.

It was a nice and clean campground, and it was suitable for family outdoors. It's also a good spot for fishing. You also have a restaurant, store, and lodge, plus wifi, options right next to it.

My friend has been coming here for 20 plus years. My 2nd time, joining his friends for what turned out to be a perfect long weekend. The weather wasn't too hot, the river was raging & refreshing, & McNallys was delicious!

A great place for a last minute camping trip! We were so happy to snag a spot on the river on a weekend. Site #14 didn't have any shade, but it was fairly secluded and had a great view. The tent sites were smaller, not the site for a huge 8 person tent but it worked great for the two of us. I'd definitely go back, the weather was perfect in early April.

Spaces are very adequately spaced, very roomy and a good distance from your neighbor. Super hot during the day but was perfect at night time. Camp host (Amber) was friendly and helpful. Pit toilet was scary looking but was kept clean and odorless. Overall, it was a great experience. 👍

Very nice place to camp. It's right on the Kern River. There is a restaurant and general store. It has vault toilets and water spigot. I would recommend visiting during the week, as it gets very crowded on the weekend.

Fantastic getaway spot to come and camp at. My kiddos love fishing and floating down the river when the flows permit. Fire restrictions are sometimes put in place and be prepared to use pit toilets.

Great two night getaway. Weny up on a Sunday and there were multiple sights open. #22 has the most trees and shade and is also close to the river. 45 minutes from Trail of 100 Giants. Little general store right next to camp.
