Wow! Finally we got to visit this majestic national park!🙌 This place is so beautiful; its like you are on another planet! The giant trees are really gigantic and you feel like a tiny ant besides them!😊 The roads in the park are well maintained and the trails are well marked!👍 It was well worth the trip! God is an amazing architect!🙏😍🙏

Sequoia National Park is truly breathtaking and amazing. The drive to the park takes about an hour and includes many sharp turns and narrow roads where both directions share the lane, so take your time and drive carefully. It’s absolutely worth the trip if you enjoy wildlife, forest scenery, and stunning high-ground rock areas.

The most amazing experience. We saw a black bear just randomly as we were coming down mountain . The giant forest is otherworldly and Moro rock makes you feel like you’re on top of world . Camped at Lodgepole , which is 45 min up the mountain on winding road I recommend traveling in daylight . But well worth it

The Sequoia National Park, with its “Giant Forest” it’s such a unique place on earth. The visit, with its trails is easy but yet marvelous. By coming with the car, we were immediately conquered by the view of the sequoias. These huge living beings, seemingly touching the sky. There is a strong wildlife all around the trees. It’s very pleasant to see deers and squirrels living in their freedom and being used to see humans. It’s a Californian must. Such a great visit.

this was our first trip to Sequoia national Park. The trail to General Sherman is pretty easy. The trail to Congress trees is a little more intense if you have people with knee issues. Overall This was very impressive, the trees were unbelievable, so big and vibrant and colorful

Great place to visit! Going to General Sherman tree is a must. A little hike going there is easy, but going back is a bit of a challenge as it is upward and air is a bit thin, so it's better to bring water and a good pair of shoes. Weather is clear and sunny when we go there. It went as high as 100F during the afternoon. Road conditions are good. Lots of zigzag and up and down. Be sure to check brakes for safety and enjoy the view while driving, and use turnouts as needed. Expect a lot of stops as there are lots of great views to take in and enjoy. Great experience overall, and I learned a lot.

Absolutely amazing with breathtaking beauty all across both the Sequoia forest and Kings canyon. The drive to and from the Sequoia forest is very scenic and scary because of all the cliff switchbacks. The views across Kings Canyon are spectacular and stunning. Once in the forest of giants it is hard to comprehend how the trees grew so big and survived a millennia. This is truly a must see on the bucket list.

This is where you can see the huge redwood trees. The park is huge, and it is a long drive up a winding steep road before you start seeing some of the big trees. Make sure you have plenty of gas, and your car can handle going up/down over 4000 feet of elevation. Driving up to General Sherman tree for example could take about an hour after you have entered the park. Also watch the road for small rocks that could give you a flat. Along the way, there are also many areas that have seen fire damage, but these fires actually can help the big redwood trees. Be ready for big temperature and weather changes between the park entrance and the elevation of the redwoods. For example, we went in the end of April. At the park entrance it was 55 Fahrenheit and partly cloudy, and near General Sherman tree it was foggy with light snow showers with a temperature of 32 Fahrenheit. The trails also can be muddy, wet, and slippery, so it would be great if you remember to prepare for those conditions. Have fun!!!

Beautiful, stunning, amazing …. General Sherman Tree is a must visit Take your time as it takes 1 hour from the gate to drive up and the same to come back. You need to calculate with at least 3-4 hours from the gate. The upper part is an active bear area, so be cautious with food up there ‼️ And of April you might still ha e snow: drive carefully!

Interesting park with giant trees and views above the clouds. I was there in first week of April, so there was a lot of snow up in the mountains and some roads were closed. I enjoyed a walk to the Sherman tree. When I arrived to Grant tree it was almost dark, but still interesting to walk at night time. On the way between Sherman and Grant I had several stops to enjoy the view of sunset above the clouds that were under me.

I visited here in September. This is a great location to enjoy many trekking trails with giant sequoias. The uphills can be a bit tough because of the high altitude and thin air. The campsite is clean and cozy. Most of the river was dry, but some parts were still flowing, in September. There were bees and flies during the day, so a pop-up canopy with a mesh sidewall would be useful. I also saw a bear walking around. There was a day during our stay when the toilets ran out of water and the campground restrooms were closed from dusk till dawn. (You can use the restrooms outside the campground.)

We were at site #83. It’s close to the creek and was very peaceful. Dedicated parking spot which is very close to the campsite ( so you don’t have to lug your gear around all that much). This was our first time camping and there were no hiccups. There were enough people on the campgrounds to feel safe but the sites were spaced out as well such that it didn’t feel crowded.

Great campsite in Sequoia in terms of distance to all of the trails abs sights. Campsites are way too close together and tightly packed together. We were stuck between two large families with very little area or privacy to ourselves. Have heard some of the other loops are better.
