Sequoia Paradise Cove is a beautiful lakefront campground located in Lake Isabella, California. The campground is situated on the banks of the Kern River, and is surrounded by the majestic Sequoia National Forest. The campground offers a variety of activities, including fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. There are also plenty of amenities, such as a general store, laundry facilities, and a playground. Sequoia/Paradise Cove RV Resort in Lake Isabella, CA

Great views of the lake and mountains.  Entertaining ground squirrels everywhere.  Flushable toilets and an usable shower.  No electric, water or sewage at the campsites but numerous water stations and a dump station.   The downside is the price.  36 dollars while the two other forest service campgrounds a short distance away that have pit toilets and no shower are only 12 dollars and have the same great view.  The private RV parks in the area only charge a dollar more and have full hookups and WiFi but don't have the view.  The advantage of the high nightly fee is that the campground is mostly empty.  As I write this, there are two other campers here and the other two campgrounds are packed.

we arrived later on the day and there were plenty of stuff sites available. Clean bathrooms and they have showers. We were very happy to find showers. Beautiful views of Lake Isabella, right on the water. It was windy and road is noisy, but we found these to be small inconveniences.

Super empty this time of year. Cool place to fish, kayak, or paddle board. Fire pits (but no wood for sale), fresh drinkable water, bathrooms with hot showers, RV dump station, fish c cleaning station, trash bin available. Pretty mountain views, and easy access to the lake.

***Road noise is a thing. This place is located right off of the HWY.

As other reviewers have mentioned, The campground is not well taken care of but it is in a beautiful setting and you'll have your choice of camp spots and so it all works!

My truck breaks down as I get here and I need it to tow my trailer and don’t have the money to have someone else to tow my trailer out of the county. The manager of the campgrounds can’t wait until the truck is fixed so I can leave. She just threatened to kick me out the next day by noon and I lose everything I own in my trailer and my pets! And I am permanently kicked out by that manger of the campgrounds.
Otherwise the couple on site are wonderful people and they do a great job keeping that place clean, and safe.

Beautiful area to camp.  Stopped and drove around to see the camp host ( ranger) paid cash for our spot and parked. The Ranger / host said he would be over with the paperwork for the RV site later. He never showed up so kind of thought that was strange being there were only 3 campers the entire night. The place was beautiful but very cold especially at night but was nice. Didn’t really get a chance to go out and do much exploring. The bathrooms seemed n nice and clean no showers or laundry available. We would definitely stay again if passing through.

I've been coming here for years, but not at paradise cove. These are pics from around the area. A beautiful reservoir, great hot springs, a gorgeous canyon and several small and welcoming communities around the lake. It's also the "back door" to Sequoia NP with excellent camping along the entire river. General Sherman tree is only 30 miles from here. This is a paradise for many many people to share and enjoy.

Very quiet and had the campground to myself in early January, but it was expensive and don’t expect to see Sequoias in this area

This place has seen better days and much of the facilities appear to be in some need of maintenance. This high-desert lake and surroundings is still nice though. Being the end of summer, water levels have dropped quite a bit and the water has receded a few hundred feet from its high water mark. There were a few folks camping near the parking areas and a few on the beach.

Sorry I didn't like it it's to hot no tress and the lake is very dangerous to be honest I didn't like it at all I give no stars to it
