Well maintained, quiet campground. Campsites are spacious. Bathrooms very clean! The location makes it a great place to explore Cape Cod. It's my second year staying here, and I would definitely come back again.

Really peaceful and affordable place to camp while exploring this area. There is a playground and bathhouse and it’s just incredibly peaceful. If you’re from out of state it cost like $54 I think, but MA residents pay $17 a night-ish for a campsite, incredibly affordable! Makes a trip to the cape and all the historic site here doable :-)

Very private campground. You will hear the highway at night, which doesn't bother me. I love staying here but I wish they would update their older bathrooms. The staff here are awesome.

Great place to bring the family, but be aware there is a lot of poison ivy around the sites. There's also a sign stating there is such thing, but didn't see it until after the fact, sign was somewhat covered. My husband got it on his hands which then ended up on his eyelids (touching face). Check in process was very easy, the staff is very nice and understanding. There's also a little store, but they don't always follow their store hours and the store doesn't carry much, but you can get your bundle of wood there, deodorant, mosquito spray etc. There isn't showers in all the bathrooms, but there's a specific "showers" area. Our kids loved the playground so did we, the playground looked new. There's slides, a little basketball court, restrooms are behind the playground and there's a few sites around/ near the playground. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely come again.

Finally pulled in here, just for a short dog walk in the woods. The ranger at the gate was extremely welcoming and eager to help. The grounds were in great condition, and we had a nice walk on some single track. I'll definitely check it out again.

My favorite campground on the cape. Huge area and lots of nice sites. Close enough to grocery stores for easy resupply. Location is perfect as basecamp to do some in-depth cape exploration, but is nice enough that spending your days relaxing at the campground is lovely in and of itself. Do a little research on the sites. There are many which are tucked away in little nooks that make it feel like you're by yourself. Most of area 1 is bordered by a green buffer that gives a nice feeling of isolation. Depending on what time of year and what time of the week you go, be prepared for terrible cape traffic. If you go early spring or fall, your chances of avoiding traffic are much better. Also, avoid holidays if at all possible.

Stayed labor day weekend with our family. The park had alot of great sites, all big and private. We were at B81 which was nice since we were on a little rotary, it was safe for my daughter to ride her scooter around it. We also had a nice dish station by us which not all bathrooms had and no neighbors to our right since it was a corner site. The playground was great and the staff was super friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the Cape. Only downfall is bathrooms. They weren't the best dcr campground bathrooms I've used, old and dirty. But it wasn't the biggest deal. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going again.

Very clean! Staff keeps individual sites so clean, ive seen them even emptying the soot out of firepits! The bathrooms and shower house is maintained by host campers (who also use those same facilities they clean (awesome idea) there is only 1 main shower house in the second loop, while I was there ( all of last year) the shower house was re-stocked at 6 am AND 6pm (TP filled, soap and trash) and then fully cleaned and hosed out at 11 am every day... so if you want a clean shower, noon is the time to take it ...There are handicapped showers at most bathrooms with dishwashing stations attached, the first loop has showers at every bathroom and no shower house ( I believe ). Campsites are distanced apart nicely, some are very remote, best bet is to pull into the office amd ask to do a drive thru and ask to look at some sites, staff patrols often during the day (on ATV vehicles) and in vehicles at night (not disturbing you), the staff is SOO nice and friendly, and easy to find, simply walk down the street, when you hear the atv coming simply wave at the staff and they will pull over and ask if your ok! With that being said I have NEVER seen or heard a disturbance! every campsite has a firepit, eigher the square kind or the round ones with the grate that lifts up, and some even have standing BBQ grills built in as well as the pit (yes a firepit AND. A standing grill). Group campsites where your whole group can be together in a nice opens area, but away from the single sites are also offered. ALSO stop and shop and a liquor store as well as ice cream shop and the beach is only 5 minutes away (you wouldnt know) there is a small camp store with emergency supplies, like a air pump for your air bed, batteries and milk, bread and eggs, ice and firewood.. its only open convenience hours, and its priced high as well but its very "convenient" to not need to leave the campsite as soon as youve got there and realized youve forgotten something.
