Host currently is a total bossy jerk with attitude issues. This place used to be affordable several years ago. Price was single digit price now 17 plus for america beautiful pass. I question price as not much updating done.

$31 dollars to put up a tent for a night with just the basics. Picknick table and fire ring. water in certain places. At least the pit toilets were some of the cleanest we encountered on our 10 day camping trip. Also it is far away from the beach and the dunes around the campground are not high enough that you could see the beach or a sunset. You can still get some pretty pictures just not of the beach or water.

Good for RV camping. In a tent, you will hear the highway all night long over the very faint sound of the waves. Any sites near the restroom will have to endure an odor, despite it being very well maintained. Some sites have no level area without exposed roots (forget about a tent there). There is Forest and Dune hiking very close. Basically in Florence if you want to be close to town.

Pros: - Cute private camp sites (on the reservation side at least) — we had total privacy up in our spot. - Nice camp host who religiously cleans bathrooms. Cons: - No matter how clean they looked, the smell of the vault toilets was bad, and so strong that we could easily smell it from our site. - Didn't realize how close the sites on our side of the campground are to the highway and were really disappointed with just how loud it was all day and all night. All together, the cons were enough that we tried to spend as little time at our camp as possible. Pick a site as far from the toilets and highway as possible, and bring earplugs to get any sleep.

Pros: convenient location, the lake is pretty, lots of wild Berries, cute little trails around the lake, very clean bathrooms for a campsite. Cons: you can hear cars on the highway at night, the lake is quite small and we found 3 random fish hooks near the shore, the spots were tiny (we literally had to set one of the tents up on the cement) and close to one another (we heard lots of other campers, including some folks who brought out a home theater with amplified sound). It was sufficient for our needs, but nothing spectacular. Seems like it is well-suited for RV camping, though.

Nice little forest service campground. Wooded with a secluded feel. Clean. Quiet. Super nice host. Not on ocean, but can hear a quiet ocean roar.

Basic campground with a kind manager. She helped us out and was very accommodating. We came here without any reservations around 8:30pm and got a spot. There are paved spots, some level some not. They all come with a little area to pitch a tent, a picnic table and a fire pit. The bathroom has a composting toilet and some hand sanitizer. It had grab bars on the walls and was quite large. It seemed accessible/ ADA compliant. There aren't any electrical hookups, but they did have a water fill station. I didn't use it so I can't speak to whether it's potable. Our spot cost us about $36 for the night. We felt very safe and people were kind.

Love this place. Has a wonderful trail through tree tunnels and over dunes. It stays green year round. Great for winter camping.

The campground itself is really pretty and the dunes are interesting to explore. The rules state that the quiet hours start at 10:00 p.m. but I had people partying next to me on two sides until 2:00 a.m. in the morning neither the hosts nor a park ranger did anything about it. so much for listening to the ocean at night in nature.

Small, closely packed campground with blackberry Vines as privacy bushes. Be careful with how close you get your tent to the bushes and you'll be ok.

Lovely little lakes. They are stocked with trout. Just a short drive from Florence. Well maintained facilities.
