Sleeping Ute RV Park

We stayed for 2 nights in our 44ft 5th wheel to visit four corners & other sites. The sites are gravel & levelish. We did not use bathrooms or laundry. It’s right next to casino. The ladies in the office were very friendly. Our site was on an end & had nice plush grass. Our dogs loved that! Went to dinner one night at casino buffet. Was not very good, don’t waste your money. Rv park was quiet & we felt safe. We would stay here again.

So, we had booked another park closer to Mesa Verde NP, but it lacked amenities, and since we were planning to be there for several days, we decided to change our reservations and stay here, at Sleeping Ute RV Park. We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the amenities. Pro's: 1) Easy access to and from the park from the major 2 lane highway that runs through town. 2) Close to (4) Corners and Mesa Verde NP. 3) Great hookups with no issues. 4) Smoke free casino on site! We enjoyed some blackjack for an hour or so without having breathing issues! 5) Indoor pool, hot tub (kept at 104 degree's which is awesome) and dry sauna. 6) Gym at the hotel/casino that you can use. Also another indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna there as well. 7) Small RV store onsite, and staff was helpful. 8) TMobile service was more than adequate. Didn't need to use Starlink. 9) We were able to wash our rig here! Always a plus. Con's: 1) Sites and grass looked tired. Lots of weeds and overgrowth. We did see landscapers mowing while we were there, but there was quite a bit of dog poop that was never cleaned up from previous guests. 2) Stickers in the grass! My son got a flat tire from his bike just from riding through the grass. 3) Its an economically depressed area in general. Always felt safe however, with security constantly driving through the park to make sure everything was safe. 4) Hard Water ... But, that's what a water softener is for. We'd stay here again in the future.

Accidentally parked in wrong spot. Within a hour security knocked on door and questioned us. I actually didn’t mind because it shows how safe the park is. Security let me stay in the spot since it wasn’t crowded. Also, I challenge you to find better bathrooms and showers anywhere in the country. Wow!

Very uneven sites. Great views. Close to casino and travel center. Use the travel center laundry as the washers in campground are low water.

This park is close to mesa verde national Park. Convient to get to mountain view which has a free gondola ride over to Telluride Colorado. ( Loved this town ). They have a shuttle bus to the casino. The bathrooms were luxurious and clean. Our stay could not have been better. Thank you.

We stayed in the RV Park. Our truck broke down on the way to Monument Valley. Tina at the front desk was kind and flexible with us, making sure we had a week long reservation in case we needed more time to get the truck fixed.Overall, the staff was friendly. The park has a pool, sauna, and hot tub to enjoy. The park is clean, quiet and security did their rounds often.

This is nice RV park. Grassy area at sites, good hookups. Excellent restrooms and showers. Heated indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna.

The UTE RV Park is very clean and beautiful grounds. Nice to walk to casino and have a buffet dinner. I am giving the RV park 3 stars because there was an issue with their 30 amp electric outlet. The next morning when we unplugged their outlet melted our 3 prong plug. This has never happened in an RV Park. We had to pay $200 for a mobile service to come out and fix it. We our now using our surge protector so please bring one to Ute RV Park. We did notice RV Park employees looking at the other sites electrical when we were there so there was an issue. I did call the lady at the desk after we left to tell her about spot 18 the electric was too hot. Please be aware of this issue reason we did not stay there on our way back.

We had a quick stopover here on the way back to Texas. Grounds were clean and a fair amount of trees for shade. Security patrols the RV Park by vehicle constantly. We didn't use the pool, laundromat or hot tub which are all in a clubhouse area within the RV Park. Casino is a short walk away. Sites all have full hookups as well as cable and wifi. Highway is close but I wasn't bothered by it at night.

Nice park for a week or overnight. Sites need attending like gravel updated and leveled but the sites are long. The sprinklers hit our rv at 2 in the morning but spoke to the ground workers and they took care of it. Casino next door with a restaurant. It's ok, good for if you don't feel like cooking. Pool and hot tub and clean showers. Full store available.

This is a very nice park. Employees are friendly. Gravel in the spots. Not very level. Spot area in most spots are small. Every spot has a picnic table. Not too crowded. Park is quiet and close to the casino. Lots of grass. Great for my dog. There is a small off leash grassy area. Indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Showers and bathrooms are very clean. Laundry is reasonably priced.

On July 6th, we lodged at this establishment. Coincidentally, they were hosting an Independence Day celebration, complete with a fair and fireworks display. (We were unaware of these festivities prior to our arrival.) The RV sites are in close proximity to one another, yet they appear to be satisfactory. Our stay was limited to a single night.

Bathrooms were nice and the location was close to where we wanted to visit but that was about it. There was no playground as advertised and the pool and spa were gross. A lot of people there were full timers and their campers were falling apart. In addition the staff is not friendly at all. I witnessed them yelling at kids a few time and also just cold to you as a guest.

Beautiful park within walking distance of the Ute Mountain Casino. The problem is that there are random people coming in and out of the park, using the facilities and then just leaving. Many of the spots are taken by people living here full time. Homeless people using the pavilion and sleeping in tents. The only park I have ever stayed in where I didn't feel safe and made sure to lock up everything before going to sleep. Wouldn't want my wife walking to the casino without me.

It was good and not to busy at all. The machines seemed to be hitting strong so what ever you do max bet or you'll regret it in the end.
