Wish they actually cared about the beauty of the lake and overlook, can’t ever let my kids enjoy because the grass is always over grown, been coming to overlook for months and never once have they weed eat around the monument stating history of the park. Such a shame

beautiful park... nice small lake as lakes go, but uet large enough to open your boat engine up and let her fly.

We enjoyed out spring break at Rocky Creek Park.We enjoyed ourselves.We got to walk and seen deer.Staff was super friendly! and the place was clean. Just keep in mind that the restrooms have one shower. but other than that it was great. Restaurants and Walmart and HEB were about a 15min drive. Keep up the good job RCP.

I wasn’t welcomed in the most friendly way, it was my first time coming out to this park so I didn’t exactly know how entering the park worked. I also don’t camp much either. They should probably have arrows before you get to the entrance telling you which road to take and how to get to where you are going. Other than that it’s a beautiful park, I’d want to come back for that.

Understand the park was wonderful and clean. All it takes is one person to ruin our stay. From the first day, we were harassed by one of the volunteers (Tom). Constantly telling us we couldn't park in certain places, couldn't drive in and look for a spot, told others that we were trouble, telling us we HAD to check out even after we had asked for an extension for my dog to have surgery. Just constant stress so much so that every time a car would come by we dreaded that it was him. We will never return to that park. He made our entire stay miserable and we did absolutely nothing wrong.

We arrived before the check time to read printed instructions of the process if arriving early. We had no issues with the locked gates because the emailed we received welcoming us had the password to the locked gates. Great views of the lake, seen 20 + deer first hour or so of our visit

Stopped in the office yesterday to check on a pass. The 2 gentleman working were both very friendly and helpful. This lake has been a regular camping, boating and jet skiing location for our family for over 20 years.

We really enjoyed this park. It was clean and well maintained. The people at the gate/reservations were lovely. There are sections of the park that they seem to still be fixing up but site 75 and that RV site area was great. Kid friendly, easy to get in the water.
