This is actually a very cute campground. It has long term and overnight accommodations. We stopped in for 2 nights on our way traveling towards Kentucky. We are full-time and needed to do laundry and take a break from this heat in their pool! Laundry rooms are immaculate and take cards or quarters. Bathrooms are very clean as well. Most of the sites have beautiful shade trees and some sites like ours have decks . The pool was awesome with Kids playing and the water was very clean. Since we are full-time, we chose this particular site because of the proximity to the laundry room and pool. Others have noted about electricity fluctuating but in our site D1, we didn't have a problem. I agree with others stating water pressure is low, but it didn't bother me. It was plenty strong enough to shower in camper, flush toilet and wash dishes...so that's all we cared about and pressure was ok for that. The "bad" so to speak... Sites aren't level, which is the case in most campgrounds but I know some people really are turned off by that ... We were able to level out camper and steps leading into camper ..note the pic of my steps and you'll understand. It's an older campground, so don't expect state of the art fancy...having said that, it's a really nice place to stay and we're definitely going to make plans to stay here again on our adventures. We paid $55 a night for full hookup (water, sewer, electric) Washers and dryers were $3 a load. Very convenient to major stores as well. Walmart is less than 15min away, gas stations less than a mile and Dollar General about 5 min away. Definitely check this place out and stay a night or two. Worth it!

This is an older RV park and it isn’t perfect, but it does the job at a good price. We were initially assigned to site B4, and first impressions were a little iffy. We absolutely loved the amount of shade this park offers, but we ran into some issues with low voltage and weak water pressure that caused a few headaches for me and my wife. The first night, we had to juggle our electric usage carefully to keep the AC and microwave from tripping things. Eventually, I decided to call and ask about it — and to their credit, the staff and maintenance crew were extremely professional, polite, and responsive. They moved us to a different site without hesitation, and we were much happier there. Voltage at the new site still wasn’t perfect, but it was within a safe range. (For reference: B4 was idling at 103V, while the new spot held around 112V. A nearby site next to B4 was running strong at 117V.) The water pressure remained low at the new site, but we were able to work around that by filling our freshwater tank and using the onboard pump, which made a big difference. Outside of the utility quirks, we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was great, and the people were extra friendly. We felt genuinely welcomed with our three kids — which matters a lot to us. If we come back, I’d try to book in a spot closer to the water or in the D section near the pool. The bathrooms were clean, though the stall doors didn’t latch properly and the showers don’t have lockable doors. That wasn’t a big issue for me, but it could be for some. I came in thinking I’d be leaving a negative review, but the staff’s willingness to help and make things right completely changed my attitude. That level of customer service is why I’d consider staying here again — just with a bit more input on which site we’d like next time.

Staff is standoff-ish; not unfriendly, but acted like I was bothering them when I stopped in. Grounds are well kept. Lots of trees and I had to make creative turns to navigate my dually and 42' fifth wheel to not hit trees/branches. Easy to gain access to from the interstate. I'd stay again if I had a smaller set up.

Good campground. Some tight roads for a 40' motorhome. Our site was on the lake. Very nice.

Nice RV park with wooded areas and several spots on the lake. We travel with 3 dogs and there were sufficient places for walking dogs and a few stations with poo bags and trash cans for disposal. There were plenty of washers and dryers for use in the office building. You could pay with quarters or your card. The pool looked nice. The water hookups by the lake seemed like they were on the wrong side, but our water hose reached. It seems like an older campground, but we prefer those to the sprawling parks where everyone is crammed together. If they do any updates in the future, I would recommend a small fenced-in area for dogs. I have one that takes FOREVER to go when he's on a leash, but will go in 30 seconds otherwise. One is still a puppy, and she really wanted to play, but I couldn't let her off leash anywhere. Also, with 3 dogs, it would be nice to be able to take them all to one place and let them do their business instead of trying to juggle all 3, or do 1 at a time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and it was convenient to lots of stuff!!!

Over all this campground is not what it seems when you look at their website. They post photos of what are the seasonal camp spots which are spot that are maintained by the season camper. We stayed at a site behind the office/bathrooms. The site was not horrible however it was poorly maintained. There was a tree behind our site that has partially come down and is stuck in another tree posing a major safety concern. Looks to have been that way for a while too. The next major issue is there are NO picnic tables! So I had to go purchase a folding table to be able to eat outside. That is ridiculous. Never been to a campground where there was no tables. Next is the fire pit they claim some sites have them and they are correct but those are and look to be mostly long term seasonal sites. Many rental sites have nothing! We had to improvise an use our charcoal grill as a pit. Again camping and fires go hand in hand. Heck they could make a pit out of an 18 wheeler rim. There are 2 sections to the campground the front near the office which appears to be trailer park trash and not kept well. And the the area by the water which is much nicer. But appears to be the seasonal sites. Next is the bathrooms attached to the office they state they have been updated and renovated haha that's hilarious. Throwing paint on a wall and buying cheap movable wall dividers is not renovated. The toilet stall indoor/dividers are very old. All except 1 do not line up to latch so anyone could walk in on you. The male urinals do not have privacy dividers. The showers are ok however the make shift plumber they used cannot seem to read an installation guide. When you turn the knob to the H hot water should come out not cold. For a young child having the water polarity reverse could lead to scalding. The bathrooms did seem to be clean which is a plus. Then there is the wifi this is a joke. Every decent campground offers wifi that is free. 4 dollars a day or 6 for 2 days is ridiculous. They also were not prepared for the holiday weekend. The pool was not completely ready water was cloudy and the pool furniture wasn't setup so we had to unstack the chairs so we had a place to sit. After we left the pool someone came and setup the rest of the pool furniture. This campground was a disappointment. I will never come back to this place. And I recommend that y'all choose wisely before coming here. Funny thing is that a typical holiday weekend just about all campgrounds are booked yet this one has many open sites still.

Love this rv park. Friendly neighbors. Most of the time very quiet. Lake right next door for fishing or kayaking. Dog friendly. Rules in place to keep everyone safe and happy. Full hookups and some spots have little porches. Super nice place to get away from the Hussle and bustle of city life. Lots of trees, birds and squirrels.

We are leaving the campgrounds today. We were here for the weekend. It was the most peaceful place I have been to. We have a 10 year old son and a 14 year old daughter and they did not complain one bit. They staff was very friendly and interactive with my son. It was just a great place with friendly people. If you are looking for a quiet getaway I recommend this campground.

Good sites on the water, but this is not swimming water. Trees over head most site so it does give the feeling of being in the woods. The biggest drawback was the constant sewage smell. It was horrible and we couldn’t escape the stench throughout the whole campground. It’s worse than in third world countries.

Nice park we stayed in a 80ft pull through site with our camper. We brought along our dogs and we're able to walk them along side the river/lake to a nice grass area in the back of the park. Owner was nice and greeted us as we arrived and explained everything I needed to know
