I love this place. I've been here for several months and everything is wonderful. However the hot tub is closed at 5:00 p.m. I don't get home until 4:30 so for me to use the hot tub is impossible. It would be nice to have a hot tub available until at least 8:00 p.m.

Sites were large and paved, turf grass, clean and modern bathroom/showers, quiet after 11pm even being so close to Reno. They call to verify your dates which was great as I had put in the wrong one! She quickly changed the reservation to the correct date with no hassle or cost. Staff all courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I’m incredibly conflicted with this park. It does many things very well.  It is very clean and extraordinarily quiet at night. Staff is great and helpful. BUT, these sites are so incredibly close together that it is obvious that maximizing park revenue was the primary concern, not the comfort of the guests.  You only get 10 or so feet of “front yard before you run into your neighbors trailer. And their electrical pedestal is right in the middle of your patio and their sewer clean out is just off to the side.  Having said that, for as tight as it is, it works relatively well.

The artificial turf at the sights is pretty much gross at this point and the fact that there is no dog potty spots outside of the 3 dog runs on the perimeters makes getting dogs to the potty in the middle of the night an ordeal, and sometimes impossible.

It feels that most guests are seasonal and working folks which probably explains the quiet nights.  There are vehicles everywhere and many guests have two vehicles per site that are Tetrised in wherever they fit.

Would I go back? Absolutely, and I’ll probably keep complaining about how tight it is, but it’s about as good as it gets in Reno. I just wish they would have given a little extra space and charged a little more. There is a market in Reno for someone to open a top tier park that puts guest comfort first even if it comes at a premium.  While this park is nice, it is not that.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others.

My husband and I are moving from Washington to Arizona and chose Sparks Marina RV Park to stay in Reno while visiting our kids along the way. We drive a 40ft Class A pulling an enclosed trailer, and my 80-year-old dad following in our truck towing a boat. I called ahead and was told the truck and boat could be accommodated but would cost extra—we declined and planned to only bring the RV and trailer for the stay at the resort.

When we arrived, my dad pulled in behind us (just to follow through the entrance, not to stay). Immediately, a man—presumably the owner—stormed over and became aggressively hostile. Despite calmly explaining that my dad would leave right after we unhooked, he yelled that we were told not to bring the truck (not true) and ordered us off the property. No conversation. No decency. Just threats to withhold our refund and to leave immediately.

I’ve never experienced such unprofessional, hostile treatment in any business. The staff on golf carts were kind—but the man in charge? Absolutely toxic.

Read the bad reviews. We wish we had. This is not a safe or welcoming place, especially if you're traveling with family. And read the rules carefully.. this is not a kid or dog friendly place.

I have stayed here twice while visiting our daughter. The staff is friendly, the area is well kept and the check in is easy.  Unfortunately the internet is not usable. I don't think they maintain the system.  They should not advertise it as an amenity. I reported the issue to the staff on both visits and they say to keep trying. The issue seems to be poor network quality as the wifi signal strength is strong. Maybe they should offer a slightly lower rate for guests that don't want to pay for non existent internet?The other issue we have is with the dog runs. They look great but the pee smell is so strong you want to leave right away. I don't know what could be done about that. It's pretty standard for rv parks.

If you have dogs and are planning a trip here  PICK ANOTHER CAMPGROUND. All paved campground too hot to walk dogs to the dog parks(they even warn you) they have 3 dog parks that smell like urine. They warn you not to allow your dog to “go” anywhere  but the dog park. I went to the manager to suggest they include arrival instructions on the pre arrival e-mail they send you with other information. As when you pull in it’s a sharp 90degree turn (which according the manager himself they have had numerous accidents) and you a required to pull forward and wait in your vehicle. The manger rudely stated that was not necessary to put that in the email because it’s covered when you make your reservation. In our case we made it 6 months prior to our arrival and I have no notes starting their instructions. He then stated any suggestions I had was not going to matter as he runs a successful campground and knew what he was doing. He indicated I was only one of 3 people on years that had an issue at the entrance.
This would be a great place to stay if you want to use pool have no kids(they offer nothing for them to do) or dogs. As the manager told me I do not need to come back and trust me I won’t be.
I have 40 years in management in customer service and hospitality management and after being a  full time RV’er for over 10 years this was the worst experience I have ever experienced from a manager in a RV park.

This was a very nice place to stay while visiting the Reno area.  It is a bit cramped but we had no problem navigating and parking our 42 ft. Class A.  There is an escort to your spot and I like that service.  We didn't use any amenities but looked around the store and they had a nice selection of things.  The ground were very tidy and clean.  There is a rule about dogs only using the dog runs.  I understand this to keep the area clean and we have stayed at campgrounds that have similar rules.  This is the strictest park we have ever stayed in. For a two night stay this was tolerable for us and our dog but I wouldn't want to have to do it longer.   We were lucky that we were right across from one of the dog runs.  That is the reason for a 4 star rating versus 5. The dog run was good size and well kept.  We would walk our dog down by the marina.

Not a very relaxing campground. They have 2 full pages of rules for kids and dog's. You don't dare sit outside with your dogs, if they pee outside the dog park, it is a $50.00 dollar fine.
On numerous occasions we picked up other dogs poop in the dog parks. I understand they want a clean park. Campers come and go all day, so you constantly hear the leaf blowers, staff ride their golf carts up and down the streets, all day. It feels like they are just watching for a rule to be broken. The park is over run with silk worms. We even had some in our camper. You can hardly walk thru the park without running into webs or worms.

This is a nice clean place if you are passing through for the night.  If you have kids or dogs, not fun.  The dogs have visit a very small area to relive themselves which is all dirt.  We like to walk our dogs and can only walk to where every other dog in the RV parking lot has to go.

“To Pee or Not to Pee, That is the Question!”
We enjoyed the service we received and the brightly sanitary restrooms were quite impressive and always available. Great, free showers too, with plenty of hot water. These facilities (3 restrooms) were so clean, but underutilized.

Grounds are well maintained and clean. Each lot has a small artificial turf area with a picnic table. Very nice, but it’s “a double edged sword.”  Obviously, they do not want your dog peeing on these mats.  But there is no grass area in the whole park including the 3 dog parks on the premises. Our dog did not pee for 2 days, even walking her to the vacant lot across the street.  $50 is their fine for your dog peeing in the wrong place!

We did enjoy our stay, eleven though we had to vigilantly keep an eye on our pet.  They probably would do everyone better by forbidding guests with furry companions.

SNOOTY
After a very long road trip my rv had accumulated a bit of dirt. It was late but the manager refused us entry into his rv park unless we washed our rv. I am 73 years old and my partner is disaabled. We were only scheduled to stay one night. To add insult to injury they refused to refund our money.

My family had a very darling time here. The staff was super kind and helpful. There was a lot of sites to choose from that were adequately spaced apart. We got all the amenities we could need and really enjoyed the activities as well. The location was spot on as there were a ton of great places to visit that was a short drive away. How they maintained everything was really nice and helped us relax more. Overall this was a wonderful place to bring the entire family and pets at a very good cost that doesn’t hinder too bad. We can’t wait to go back.

Fake grass at each site. Concrete pads. Clean with friendly staff. Nice laundry area. I think 2 or 3 dog areas, but I remember a walking path outside the park to the marina. They also have a pool and hot tub, cable, wifi. I didn't use their wifi and I know they have a few (3 or 4) bath houses, but didn't use them either.
