This place was great- we stayed for one night in a tent, but the sites were grassy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They let us in after hours which was greatly appreciated by our too spontaneous group. Pet friendly was an added bonus. Bathrooms were clean and they even had a pool- although it was too cold for us to use.

A hidden gem along the East shore, with great access to Taylor Head Provincial Park trails and beaches, and the neighbouring town of Sheet Harbour with a great ice cream stand. Loved our stay here, spacious campsites, the kids enjoyed the pool and swings and slide as well. Perfect for stargazing at night. The hosts were very helpful and a pleasure to meet! So much more to do in this area than we realized coming in. Definitely coming back to this campground to explore this area more.

I stayed there August 2021 and I am booked back again. The sites are large. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. Taylor Head beach and walking trails are near by. If you need a place that is going to keep your kids entertained, this not the place for you. Think of it as a provincial park camp ground, without the nagging about noise. And the pizza is REALLY GOOD! I love it there!

We did not camp here, but got a great sandwich at the convenience store. If you need lunch this is a good place to stop.

One of the best camping experiences I've had in a while. I stayed in one of their cabins for the weekend it was very clean and had a mini fridge to keep food in. I spent a good chunk of time in the pool which was very nice. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground and you can tell that the whole park is very well maintained. The owners and some of the nicest people. They were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome! Absolutely loved all the dogs aroundš„°š¶ Couldn't recommend this park enough!

Dreadful how we were treated and a shame that such rude selfish owners taint the wonderful people of the Maritimes. One of the worst and appalling experiences we have ever had on any trip. Shame on you, Janice!!!

Perfect place to camp if you like well spaced sites among trees that are level!! Pleasant owners who even bake fresh bread! Nice to have access to laundry and always have hot water for showers! Plenty space to maneuver too. Spent a pleasant day at Taylor Head Provincial Park hiking with a final stop at the pristine beach. Stay awhile and enjoy this lovely spot!

We are traveling along the coast of Nova Scotia this summer in our 40-foot motorhome. What a wonderful find this campground was! Along with tent sites, the campground offers long, level pull-thrus and back-ins for units our size. The campground owner and his wife were friendly and welcoming. They have owned the campground for 18 months and itās obvious they have made many upgrades on the property. They stock some well-thought-out grocery items in the small camp store but the best thing is they make fresh pizza on site. What camper isnāt pleased, after a day of travel, to arrive and order dinner? Another bonus is the proximity to Taylor Head Provincial Park, where there are trails to hike, picnic tables at which to enjoy your lunch and a sandy beach to explore. This is definitely a great stop.
