Great park! We camped here and were impressed with the facilities. The entrance gates are well-run with helpful personnel. We enjoyed the beach and the walking trails. Didn't see any alligators at Gator Lake, but we saw a large buck nearby. The camp store hours seemed to be pretty limited, but that could be because it's the off-season. There were nice play facilities near the marina.

Just beautiful! Peaceful. We stayed at the campground there and it was a quick drive to the beach. My family loved it. If city is more your speed, Panama City is right down the beach. The crazy thing is that it is that close but when you're at St. Andrews if feels like it's no where near the tranquil area you're at. We can't wait to go back!

St. Andrews State Park is such a peaceful, family-friendly spot. We took the kids for a beach day and it was perfect—clean, quiet, and not crowded at all. The bathrooms were surprisingly spotless (huge bonus when you have little ones in tow). The kids had a blast playing in the sand, collecting shells, and to their amazement, we even found a tiny white crab while digging! It felt like our own little slice of paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, clean, and kid-friendly beach experience.

We visited for the first time this morning. Got there at 8:00 am, $8 to get in. Drove over to the beach and jetti area. Overcast and a nice breeze made it great to walk and experience the whole area. Apparently they have done and continue to update the park. This is a great place to bring kids and let them swim in the protected area. Very clear, shallow and calm for them to swim. We hiked to the gator pond. A couple recommended downloading the Merling Bird Watching App. It listens for birds and tells you which bird it hears. It was so cool. We hiked all the little paths around the area. Didn't see and gators, but plenty of bird and a couple of deer. We really enjoyed our time and hiking along the shoreline all the way down to the point where so could see Shell Island.

So far we've loved our stay here! The park is beautifully redone. Beach and waterway access is easy. The camping sights that have the best views don't have shade, so you have to make your own, but the constant breeze really keeps you comfortable. The beach is quiet and uncrowded, with clear water and grayish white sand mixed with broken shells. Not a soft as Fort Walton Beach, but the water is just as beautiful but with less sea life and surf. Lots of bicycle riding with seperate lanes and paths in the camp and around. Plenty of hiking trails. The pics with the rocks in front of the water and with the sunrise by the pine tree are from our campsite #83.

This place was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!! I enjoyed this beach so much. The view was amazing. The salt air smelt great and the beach was clean and full of friendly people. I can't wait to visit again.

We went on Sierra’s dolphin, snorkel cruise and had the best time. Loved her passion for nature and wildlife and the dolphins. She gave us so much great information about the dolphins and this surroundings in the Osprey and love the nest that she pointed out. She went the extra mile and drove us back to our condo which was super sweet because walked there. We just loved it. Highly recommend!!

The campground has been recently renovated. Some of the roads are still under construction as they continue to improve the park. This was my first time there, but I will be going back. Awesome State Park. Beautiful beaches.

Beautiful state park with absolutely beautiful beaches! Very much worth the $8 entry fee. Waves were a little rough on our visit but the water was still great! Kids found tons of shell at the jettie and there is even a shallow area where little kids swim that is calm due to the rock wall.

we love to camp here. beautiful sites, level on gravel, with fire pit and grill, a nice picnic table and full hook ups. sites are large with a nice fence and shrubbery with plenty of trees and sunny skies. Many sites are right along the river. nice paved walking to beach or ride your bikes. beautiful scenery and walkways. bathrooms are plenty throughout the park, with laundry and clean hot showers. several camp stores. I think 3, bikes, kayaks, golf carts all for rent. shuttle boat to Shell island. which is beautiful, we haven't been out there for many years. but want to go again. we come every year and love the whole area. great restaurants within walking or biking distance, Patches and Schooner's. can't say enough good about this state park. lots of people are keeping this place neat clean and running smoothly. there is some construction going on but all is good
