Stony Point Resort RV Park & Campground

This resort is a mix of cabins, seasonal (at least!), and short-term camping facilities. We stayed in #39 backing up to the canal. This area had its own dock, so it was good the day we rented a boat (SPR has its own marina) and went fishing. If you owned your own, you could park it there as well. We had a partial view of the main lake. The sites on the west side, closer to the playground and pond, were in a pine grove; the ones on the north end had better lake views. Even at the furthest point you could hear the busy Hwy. 2 traffic when outside, so definitely choose as far north/away from the road as possible if you want to pretend you're "away from it all." Sites were just gravel but fairly level, and amenities included a nice picnic table, clean shower houses, and good lighting. The resort also has a nice restaurant and gift/supply shop. About 15 miles to Bemidji, but the lake is a bit smaller, with some islands to get out of the wind. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
