Good spot to have your bikes stolen. Easy access for thieves. Locks & chains not much of a deterrent for them. Also have homeless people digging through the garbage cans at 3 a.m. every morning (probably as they're scoping out the campsites). Then during the day all week, it's just construction noise from setting up for a music concert the following wkend. The plus? When you report stolen property, they are sympathetic & let you know it happens. Homeless people coming around at 3 a.m., ya bc that's when the camp security leaves & HB police aren't quite on patrol yet. We camp a lot & this is first place we've been too where you have to lock everything down tight just to walk over to the beach just on the other side of the railing. Don't expect to feel rested between the construction, traffic noise, & dance club that's popping until 3 a.m. then the homeless guy comes to root root around your site & trash cans. Also, dogs allowed but not on any of the beaches within walking distance. No return trip for us.

Big spaces for RVs, water and electrical connections, trash service and you can BBQ in the parking lot. Public bathroom within walking distance.

BEACHSIDE! GREAT LOCATION, NOISY & SMALL LOTS First impression: KUDOS to the City for developing this public space. It's clean and access to beach and boardwalks and pier is incredible. ❤️❤️ Big rig friendly?... KINDOF Location: Great location because it is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. However, it's barely big rig friendly. Spaces actually are wide, but not long enough, & no sewer hookups. Driving in and out is also problematic because of narrow roads, tight corners and a semi-gnarly tight entrance and tire slicing knives you don't want to mess with. Employees & checkin: Very helpful and friendly. Checkin was quick. If traveling as a group of big rigs, the entrance can only hold 3-4 before others have to hold up traffic on the busy 101 highway. Noise: Highway 101 is ADJACENT. The only thing between your space and the very busy and noisy highway is a sidewalk. Night time bars across the street are also fairly noisy. A lot of racing traffic at night. Security: One of our group members had their e-bikes almost stolen after going to bed. The cable locking the bikes to the rack was cut, but the mechanism for holding the bikes onto the rack was too tight to get them off. But seriously... it's a target area for BS thieves. Final note: Not the greatest for big rigs, lots are a bit short and no sewer hookups. HOWEVER, it's clean, has nice people working, and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! =)

The location, right at the beach just across from a bike/walking path could not be any better. The spaces are roomy, wider than most. You are basically in a parking lot, one with water and power. No dump at your site is why I did not offer up 5 stars. Over the weekend, it was busy here, but during the week, not so much. All day long you’ll see people running, walking or riding along the path. Many dogs being walked. Close, very close by are grassy areas where you can take your dog. They do not supply dog pick up bags so bring your own. Plenty of garbage cans located throughout the park. There is a public bathroom near the park, one with toilets only, but we did not use them. Easy walk across the PCH to the downtown area to do a bit of “tourist” type shopping and plenty of places to find a bite to eat. We sleep with a small fan running at night (white noise) which made it easy to get a good nights rest. We are here currently, early February. I definitely recommend this rv park.

Our new favorite site. You must be sure to lock up bikes, because the campsite is open you can have non campers walk around. We have not had any bad experiences, but we also lock up our bikes. Plenty of outdoor activities, shopping and dining.

We loved this location! Right on the beach and the sunsets were beautiful! The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the lack of amenities. But, even so, the sItes were good size and…did I mention on the beach?!? Perfect location.

Had my locks cut and generator stolen. Same night other campers had four electric bikes stolen at different sites. All where locked up. Don’t leave anything of value out. Other than that, beautiful beach. They do leave the parking lot lights on all night and it’s really bright.

I only recommend this place for the view. It has a great view of the ocean and fire pits . Otherwise, I would not recommend this area at all. We own a pop up camper and just recently stayed there. The campsite is in a parking lot. You are very close to your neighbors and can hear their conversations. The most irritating part is there is a bar/night club across the street. They play loud music until around midnight. The hotel next to that holds outside weddings so they also play loud music. This campsite is more expensive then most campsites. They do not have a separate bathroom for the campers. We are expected to have our own, which we do, but the bathrooms we can use are the public restrooms that close at 10pm and are pretty gross. If you are looking for a site for relaxation and calm this is not the place, but if you are looking to party across the street and don’t mind loud noise then it’s perfect.
