Our favorite place to RV in the Keys. Depending on site selected, you'll pay between $100-$200 a night. We get the Elite Waterfront sites that put you right on the beach. Considering the amenities you have access to and that it is in the Keys, the price is not even comparable to other lodging options anywhere down there. They also have RVs and Tiny Homes to rent as well, not sure on pricing but I remember it being very reasonable. The amenities are great: playground, soccer field, basketball court, heated pool, game room (air conditioned), events each night, covered pavilion area, resident BBQ food truck, marina, marina store (bait, beer, ice, snacks), laundry facility ($2.50/load) wash and dry (credit card access for laundry, so no need to lug pounds of quarters around) golf cart friendly grounds, kayak rentals, and a gas station next door with diesel ($3.45/gallon) which was thr middle of the road when we were there (3rd week of October 2025). This place has it all and the staff is awesome. Easy check in, and employees will lead you to your site and guide you in if you're a newbie. Full hook ups...I'm sure I've missed something but to sum it up, this place has it all, it's the most cost effective option in the area and it's absolutely beautiful...oh, and quiet...it's not rowdy at all.

We really enjoyed our visit at Sunshine Key RV Resort! The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, and the campground itself was very well maintained and clean! We would most definitely stay here again!

We just stayed for 2 weeks in August. The staff was lovely, however the place was awful. Pesticide use flags…how is that good for anyone? The house was out of control at all times of the day and well into the night. Loud music constantly. Gold cats zooming all over with no concern for speed limits, safety, or road rules. Kids/teens in e-bikes everywhere zooming around without helmets or concern for others. Our children were nearly hit multiple times while walking on family walks and staying on the side of the road. Anything goes here. It’s party central! Most children were unsupervised and lacked good manners. Drunk adults. People constantly walking directly through your site. And sites are already small and snug, so it’s a major intrusion of space. Could not get any cool water. Water was constantly hot straight from the ground. So unless you have a bunch of ice, you’ll be drinking hot water. Sewer smells constantly —far more than any other park. Essentially the park had a lot of potential, but while we were there the people staying there were incredible rude and obnoxious. It works be nice if the staff required people to actually follow the rules and be courteous to others, but it’s clear that the culture accepted there is completely out of control.

This place is a hidden gem! The sunsets here are absolutely stunning & some of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s got easy access to the boat ramp, a small beach with chairs to chill out, a nice shady playground for the kids, laundry facilities, & a gas station/store next door for last minute items. There’s even a pier that’s perfect for fishing or just watching the sunset. There are different vendors and food trucks on site. My favorite by far has been the Disco Fish food truck. It is parked right by the boat ramps—super convenient and so good! Willie, Ninoska, and the whole crew are super friendly and welcoming, always making you feel at home. You’ve got to try the fish croquetas, the pan con minuta (fried fish sandwich), and seriously—the fries are amazing. Whether you’re boating, fishing, hanging with the family, or just grabbing some great food, this spot has it all. Definitely worth a visit!

had a great experience at Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina. The entire place is very well maintained, everything was clean and orderly throughout my stay. I was especially impressed by how well the bathrooms were kept; it’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping the facilities spotless. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, which made it easy to relax. The sunset views are the best in the keys. Security is also top-notch, giving me peace of mind during my visit. Everything felt safe and well-managed. One highlight was having lunch by the marina at a Cuban spot, I had an amazing fish sandwich that I’m still thinking about! Overall, Sunshine Key is a peaceful, clean, and well-run location. I’ll definitely be back.

Amanda in the office was very helpful and kind helping us with our reservations. Stephanie the activities director keeps the fun coming with planned events and drinks and food. Can't say enough for the service. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

We really enjoyed our vacation at Sunshine Key RV last year. The staff was wonderful, the resort was clean and well-maintained. The pool was magnificent. And we loved going to the docks to see the fish. Highly recommend staying here.

We have been loyal guests at this resort for the past five years, spending two weeks here every March. Unfortunately, this year was a disappointment. Our experience started off on the wrong foot when we arrived a day early. We were quoted $205 plus tax for the extra night by Sandy, but upon check-in, we were charged $279 plus tax. When my husband inquired about the discrepancy, we were told only Sandy could address it. Despite sending two follow-up texts, I received no response, and I am still waiting for a resolution to this overcharge. During our 11-night stay, the pool was cleaned only twice. Several times, we found ourselves swimming among candy wrappers, hair ties, and unattended children. If you’re looking for a relaxing poolside experience, this is not the place. We booked their most expensive waterfront tiers, #402, which offers a fantastic view right in front of the beach. However, be prepared for constant foot traffic through your site, as guests frequently cut through rather than using the designated entrances. The kids’ park was also consistently dirty, littered with wrappers and garbage. This resort has so much potential, but it falls short due to poor communication, overcharging, and a lack of rule enforcement. Sadly, after five years of visiting, we won’t be returning. That said, the location is a major highlight. It’s centrally located between the mainland and Key West, with three beautiful beaches and two mini-golf courses nearby. If management could improve the overall upkeep and guest experience, this place could be exceptional.

Out of pure selfishness I want to tell you to not come here. I want this place all to myself. The front office staff are incredible, which is how the rest of this resort is as well. The facilities are clean and well laid out, the grounds are well maintained, and it's simply a wonderful place to spend a vacation. We love it here, so please, don't come. It's making my reservation harder to get. 😁

Sunshine Key RV Resort is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and breathtaking views of the ocean. The location is unbeatable—nestled right in the heart of the Florida Keys, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby attractions like Bahia Honda State Park and Key West. The amenities are top-notch. The sites are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with full hookups and easy access. The resort has everything you need: a pool to cool off in, a marina for fishing or boating, and even bike rentals for exploring the island. We also appreciated the on-site store, which was stocked with essentials and some great local souvenirs. The sunsets here are out of this world! Every evening felt like a front-row seat to a private show of nature’s beauty.

This is a really nice RV park that has great amenities and wonderful staff. RV parks really aren’t my kind of thing, but the spaces here were bigger than what I’ve seen previously, all the folks are really nice, they had happy hours, live music, a pool, and lots of other activities. The WiFi costs extra and I heard it sucks anyway, so I just used my Verizon jet pack and had no problems getting my work done. Nice little beach plus a boat marina, and there’s a small island you can also paddle out to, so that was cool! Me and my Sadie girl had a great time!

This is a great park if you can get in. So many people we met just keep extending and staying longer. The pool was a perfect temp, there is a small beach you can swim, snorkel, or go out on a boat. They have a boat dock. The pull through site have plenty of room. They have premium backing right on the water or at the dock. The playground is great, they have sand volleyball, basketball, horseshoe, bingo and more

Favorite campground we have ever been to! Beautiful views. Laid out so well, very clean and well maintained. Perfect location to see all the keys. Just wish it wasn’t so hard to get into! We would be here all the time!

Our first time staying here. We will be back. We stayed inside 111. This was a great spot because it was at the back end of the resort away from the highway. This is a very very very laid-back Rv Resort. Lots of fun organized activities in the park. Great place for kids and pets. The most laid-back RV resort we have ever been at. The marina is beautiful. Lots of fish and Manatee. Great place for wildlife and boating. There is deep water access to the bay into the ocean. We had fun exploring the area in our 11 foot inflatable with a 5 hp motor.

Absolutely the best rv park in the Keys. The park has been completely rebuilt and is pristine. The staff is the greatest. Look forward to coming back next year. As we prepare to leave we are already looking forward to our return next year. Every place in the Keys has warmth and sun. Nobody but Sunshine Key RV has Susan, Karen and Mindy. We will miss them as they have made our stay so wonderful.
