The campground is very nice conveniently located in Brewster which puts you in the cape. That alone is worth its weight and gold. This is our second time there for Labor Day weekend. And we booked for next year as well. So obviously definitely coming back. Off the beaten path. You pull in up a dirt road that is 10 mph as you get closer to the actual campground it drops to 5 mph to keep all of the pedestrians and bicyclists safe obviously. When you first get there you pull off to the right fairly clearly marked you stopped there you check in at the front desk get your tag for your mirror for your car. Campsites are well maintained there is full hook up available, gray water only an electricity, and water on site. There are also sites without water mainly tent sites. The owners which are very present seem to be kind caring and really want the campers to enjoy their stay. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms are clean, plenty of bathrooms and showers, dirt roads throughout for the most part there are a few tard roads to the campsites,. There is also Sweetwater farms which seems to be a horse farm they tell you not to go too close but you can walk by and look at the horses. They have basketball swing sets cornhole pickleball, horseshoes, there's a fishing pond, you can rent boats. Plenty of water spigots throughout the place with buckets to put all your fires. Some really nice tent sites that are kind of tucked away with privacy. Camp store has a good amount of things that you may need when you're camping including camping and tent items, fishing items, milk bread crackers, candies. There is a small arcade game room for the kids with some seating, upstairs from that there is a pool table with some books and people television in that room with some sitting areas. There is a dump station for those that need to dump their campers. When I left check out was at 11:00 and I was second in line for the dump station, as I was dumping one person pulled behind me. So it was not overwhelmingly busy. Also to mention there is mini golf which cost $2.50 per person, or lots of activities planned for the weekend Friday Saturday Sunday. They had things such as scavenger hunt, fishing derby, painting rocks, basketball shootout for the kids, on Sunday they had a live band play quite a few of the campground patrons bring their chairs set up and watch the live band. Also before the live band on Sunday there was catered burgers hot dog salad. All for free.

Stayed 3 nights here to do some kayaking and biking. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, facilities are clean, and, while I didn't use any of them, it appears that there are many activities to do here. Sites have decent separation and privacy. Sites are fine dirt which, when it rains, turns to mud. So, be ready for that. Many of the roads are narrow so be careful. Pricewise, this campground is an excellent value on the Cape.

Spent four glorious night at Sweetwater what a wonderful group of people they have created quite an experience there many things to do for children and adults, fire pits, electricity, and water at many of the campsites, including cable for TV. There’s kilndried firewood. There’s ice in a well supplied store for items one might need at a campground. They accept tent, camping and many different sizes of campers and trailers. They’ve got a new Pickleball court. They’ve got basketball courts, cornhole games, putt putt golf. The bathrooms and showers are free and incredibly clean . We met a guy whose job it was to go around and vacuum all the spiderwebs that get set up each day by those busy little spiders. Signs are everywhere to tell you what your choices are and what you should be doing to help out such as keeping the doors closed in the bathroom to keep the bugs out very helpful. We like to bike and there are so many trails within striking distance from from Sweetwater. The trails interconnect with other trails so you can be gone all day on your bike if you choose exploring the Cape meeting new people and seeing beautiful views and surroundings on Cape Cod I highly recommend Sweetwater Campground. We will be back.

Great experience Site was pretty level, spacious, and private. We had water & electric. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to do much as we were traveling the cape most of the weekend. But it was a great home base

Great campground with all the facilities. Clean showers and toilets. The spots were not to close together so relatively private.

This place brings back only the fondest memories of fishing on the dock in my teenage years. I have nostalgia and think about a girl I met there in the summer of 2020. Unfortunately I didn't get her contact info and know I will never see her ever again. I think about her from time to time and think maybe just maybe I'll somehow see her again.

Nice warm showers and our tent site was kept away from a lot, so it was calm and quiet. Nice staff and would definitely visit again.

I booked this campground from 7/20-8/3/24. The campground is centrally located in Brewster. It's a nice layout with plenty of privacy for sites. The price for 2 weeks in midsummer was great and affordable. The sites were all different sizes and most were flat once you backed in. The pond was pretty but swimming was not allowed. The restrooms and showers were very clean and the water pressure was great and there was plenty of hot water. The campground is very dog friendly. There is also a great dog park right across the street that we went to daily. The roads are hilly and you really need a mountain bike to get around. There are plenty of activities for kids. The downside was there were no activities for adults without kids. The campground is very clean and on the very close to the bike trail which is helpful. I love Bingo and have never been to a campground that didn't have bingo. There are also no planned activities during the week or really any at all during the summer. I understand most people/families leave for the day and come back at night but it would be nice to have things to do for adults and people who don't want to leave the park every day. There is a TV room but there were hardly any movies shown. For the price, location and privacy, I would definitely stay here again. My suggestions would be to have food trucks, movie nights, crafts and Bingo. I would suggest a sign up sheet with a small deposit depending on the activity to be able to get a headcount for the activity and to ensure guests will be there for the activity. If they don't show up, they lose their money. I understand they don't want to book and schedule things if no one shows up, But as an avid camper, I think people would plan for the activities they want to do and plan for days off the campground. A sign up sheet at check in with a small deposit would help get a headcount. And you can give people the deposit back when they check in for the activity whether it's movie nights with popcorn or Bingo. Also there is no pool. A pool would be nice or a splash pad, especially when being at the beach all week. A pool is a great change of pace for when you need a break from the beach. Again, I would definitely stay again. It's a nice change of pace busy Rt 28 or Rt 6.

Beautiful family owned camp ground. Very friendly staff, amazing location. Camp sites are raked and clean. I'm on tent only. There is over 50 tent sites to choose from. Some are closer to others, some are more secluded. Most of them are on a small incline. A lake that practices catch a release, 5 dollar an hour canoe or 15 for 4 hours, table tennis, pool table... Yet feels like you are in a middle of a forest away from everyone. Great bathrooms as well..

We love Sweetwater forest campground we have gone 4 times and every time it is a blast so many activities to do especially this past Columbus day. Camp sites are well taken care of.my daughter loves the updated playground.there is mini golf.this place is so much fun. Hopefully they will get a pool one day it's the only thing they don't have is swimming on premises. Also the mini golf needs some help it was in rough shape.

Wonderful (and very popular) campground. Our first stay here and we already have reservations for 2 visits next year. Clean and quiet. People are very respectful of quiet times even over a holiday weekend. There are staff on-site all the time and they are friendly and helpful. Restrooms are always clean. The only "negative" is there is no on-site laundry facility but there is an excellent laundromat over in Dennis Port if you need one (we stayed for a month).

Sweatwater forest is everything me and my family could hope for! If you are looking for an awesome campground in the middle of the cape definitely stay here. The camp sites are very private and there is so much to do here, from all the many playgrounds to free mini golf, and minutes from a lot of beaches and parks. The staff has been amazing and super friendly, you can tell they care about your stay being enjoyable. My family and I live almost 4 hours away from here and I would definitely have no problem making the drive to come back to this place! We're so happy here!!

This is a very nice campground perfectly situated in the middle of the cape. There’s a whole seasonal section separated from the the rest, and also a large tent only area. We were traveling in a 22’ travel trailer and stayed 3 nights. Mostly wooded sites vary widely in size and layout and degree of privacy, but for the most part are pretty good. Our site A-24 (E/W) was just barely large enough for our trailer and vehicle, but was cozy and fairly private. There are also several sites that can accommodate big rigs with full hookups. Facilities and grounds were very clean. Nice little camp store. Definitely recommend calling and telling them what you like. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
