Taneycomo Lakefront Resort & RV Park
Overview
Taneycomo Lakefront Resort & RV Park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and convenient access to one of the country’s premier entertainment hubs. Nestled directly on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, this destination provides a peaceful retreat while keeping guests just minutes from the heart of Branson. Whether you are arriving in a large motorhome or looking for a cozy cabin, the park emphasizes a relaxed, waterfront lifestyle that sets it apart from more highway-centric accommodations in the region.
Location & Surroundings
Situated on the upper portion of Lake Taneycomo, the resort enjoys a scenic position where the water remains cool and clear. The surroundings are defined by lush Ozark greenery and the gentle flow of the lake, creating a tranquil atmosphere that feels worlds away from the neon lights. Despite this seclusion, the park is strategically located to provide quick access to the Branson Strip, allowing visitors to transition from a morning of quiet reflection by the water to an evening of high-energy shows.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped to handle modern RV needs with full hookup sites that include water, sewer, and electric. Beyond the basics, the property features a large private fishing dock and a boat ramp, making it easy for guests to get out on the water. Families often gather at the outdoor swimming pool or the playground, while the on-site laundry facilities and Wi-Fi ensure a comfortable extended stay. The availability of boat slips also makes it a top choice for those traveling with their own watercraft.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The primary draw for many guests is the world-class trout fishing right outside their door. Beyond the lake, the resort is a short drive from the shopping and dining at the Branson Landing and the thrilling rides of Silver Dollar City. Nature enthusiasts can also explore the hiking trails at Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area or take a short trip to Table Rock Lake for warmer water activities like swimming and jet skiing.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is ideal for avid anglers who want immediate access to the lake's famous trout stocks without sacrificing modern comforts. It is also an excellent fit for families seeking a home base that offers both on-site recreation and proximity to Branson’s famous theaters. If you prefer a scenic lakeside setting over a standard parking lot experience, this park provides the balance of nature and entertainment you are looking for.

We have found our new Branson spot for sure! The family who owns it is absolutely amazing and so friendly! They are very pet friendly and will even give your dogs lots of treats! We will for sure be back!!

Wife and I wanted to get away. Found this place and it is wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Soda machines, pool, wonderful little store. Great trout fishing, literally out the back door. Docks for your boat. What made it the best though was the owners and staff. So, down to earth and helpful. Fine folks that I would be honored to call friends. My wife even got a nickname “the key lady.” Thank you guys. Go check it out…

Hidden gem in the Branson area. The trout fishing here is fantastic. We had Bill as a guide and he had us catching fish all day. Clean rooms and a nice pool area. Doesn’t get better than this!

Been going here 15 yrs. Used to awesome place. But now it’s more of a slum rental with all the rooms being booked with pet owners on a monthly bases. Can’t sleep with the dogs. Pet hair everywhere. It’s cheaper by the month for the slum than by the night for real customers. Have to watch everywhere you step for dog crap. Docks are now full of spider webs. And had a case of bed bugs. Such a sad decline from the original owners pride.

This place has become our home away from home. It is so relaxing and peaceful. The new owners have updated and given the place so much TLC. They strive to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. We felt like we were welcomed with open arms, and they appreciated our time spent there. We have booked several more trips throughout the year. The dock is beautiful to sit on and fish, relax while watching the water, read a book listen to music. We even played some music and did some slow dancing as the sun was setting down there, very romantic. Location is great not far from Branson or Table Rock, but just enough so that you feel like you're secluded. It is so beautiful, peaceful relaxing and soothing. Everyone in the staff is so friendly and helpful. You can tell that they generally enjoy being here doing what they're doing and look forward to your visits.
