We have been staying here for 4 months so far and absolutely love it! Everyone is very nice and welcoming and they offer a lot of great amenities. Very convenient to have washers and dryers on site so we dont have to leave for laundry. We also love the animals and visit them daily. We have a dog and love that there is a dog park area for some running space. There is also plenty of area to just walk around the park. We dont have kids but they do offer a lot of great stuff for kids (or adults even) including a nice playground, jump pad, basketball court, large checkers/chess game, game room, a pool, pedal cart track and gem mining. This is one of the nicest and friendliest campgrounds we have been to and definitely would recommend it to anyone looking to stay short term or long term.

We spent the night at this campground and were so impressed with how clean everything was! The cabin we stayed in had a super comfortable mattress and a nice patio area with a concrete pad, fire pit, and gas grill.

We visited during Halloween weekend, and the staff went all out with activities—bingo for kids, music bingo for adults, donuts and biscuits & gravy for breakfast, crafts, a train ride, and trick-or-treating after dark.

In addition to the holiday fun, there’s so much to do year-round: a pool, new playground, basketball court, bounce pad, pedal carts, goats, and two donkeys.

Highly recommend this campground any time of year, but Halloween weekend was especially special thanks to all the extra effort they put in!

Very nice campground. The grounds were very well taken care of.  The bathhouse was clean.  The playground was very nice. New equipment. We enjoyed the 2 donkeys and 2 goats.  Our dog enjoyed the dog area.

We have stayed at this campground many times over the years (with different names/owners).  It is quiet, clean, well kept up and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were in the area to visit lots of family so didn’t have time to use the pool or other things that are offered.  We did use the laundry and it was clean and all of the machines we in good condition.  We would stay here again when in the area.  Thanks for a great stay!!!

Our stay at Terre Haute Campground was okay, but not worth the premium price. The RV site itself was adequate, and the check-in process was smooth enough—staff weren’t especially warm, but they weren’t rude either.

What really disappointed me was the number of advertised amenities that simply weren’t available. One of the main reasons I chose this campground, at $75 per night, was because I was traveling with two kids and was drawn to the advertised newly remodeled game room and pedal cart track. Unfortunately, every machine in the game room had an "out of order" sign, and all of the pedal carts were broken or falling apart. These amenities as advertised we had looked forward to were not usable.

If those amenities had been functional, the price may have felt justified. But as it stands, we would have been better off choosing a less expensive campground without the false promise of kid-friendly extras. The campground really needs to update its website to reflect what is actually available.

We only stayed 1 night. The experience with the staff and the beautiful atmosphere has us wanting to stay longer next time. The campground is inviting. We enjoyed the stay. Ty!

Beautiful Campground....The staff works very hard on keeping the grounds looking very nice and extremely clean and go above and beyond to help with anything you need and if they cant help they will point you in the right direction..
They have RV parking, tent camping, glamping, cabins and a lot more, I do have to say the animals are definitely a plus..We are here for 7 or 8 months and looking forward to meeting a lot of wonderful people and enjoying the pool..

I have been staying at Terre Haute Campground since March 1st and absolutely love it!  They have goats, donkeys, a laundry facility, free wifi,  a rec room with a pool table, fireplace, air hockey and a big table with chairs if you like to entertain company! There's a pool, bathroom/shower facilities, plenty of firepits, the office has some cute items for sale as well as those Last minute necessities. The office staff has been very welcoming and down to earth, and I can even have my packages sent there! Since I travel 100% of the time for work it is very convenient to have my Amazon packages delivered to the office. I highly recommend staying here!

I just recently moved to Terre Haute for my job, and was nervous about full time living in my camper because of the harsh winters and not knowing anyone in the area. However, the staff at Terre Haute Camp ground have gone above and beyond to help me feel welcomed, get settled, and keeping an eye on my camper when I am traveling for work. I cannot recommend this camp ground enough!!!

I was so excited to stay here based on reviews that regaled how friendly staff were.  After a long day of traveling it’s always nice to have a friendly welcome.  Upon entering the office I saw 2 young ladies.  No smiles no welcome but a brisk “can I help you”. Gave my name and was told my site number, no additional info regarding WiFi, trash, etc.  I then asked if they had bread to which the young lady replied “I don’t know you can look in there”-pointing to an adjacent room. Again it wasn’t so much what she said but how she said it.  Where were the friendly staff everyone talked about?   Next we got to our site and the electricity wasn’t working correctly.  My husband went to the office to report and ask for new site, I wasn’t with him for the entire time while he was in the office but I did enter towards the end of the interaction.  Again the attitude from this young lady was uncalled for, I am not sure where the friendly staff are but I hope I get to meet them before I leave.  I will update my post and let you know.
UPDATE  i am happy to say I finally met the friendly staff. The Manager, Wendy, contacted me and apologized for  staff interaction.  I truly believe our interaction with Emily was not the normal for this campground, just  reading the reviews confirm that.  The campground itself is very nice with lots to do especially kids.

This campground was just taken over at the end of October.  The improvements are great and more to come.  A lot of activities for the kids and a great over night park.  It has cabins and very clean bathrooms.
