This is our favorite weekend trip, we’ve brought our camper up and also rented cabins. The family friendly events are always so much fun and the vibe is always just right! Close to town and so peaceful on the water. Never change Tiger Run!

Wanted to like it, but didn’t. The positives first, all the residents were super friendly and everyone said hello. Very close to the Colorado trail so great for hiking with our dog. The negatives, some renovations at the clubhouse meant it was out of action when we arrived. After the renovation it was left dirty in the men’s restroom. After 10pm (and before 8am the next morning) our access card didn’t work and we were unable to use the washroom facilities. In the morning I went to the reception to advise them of this and they said there was emergency plumbing work and the water was cut off. I know this was a total lie as a fellow resident did let me in the lounge and I was eventually able to use the restroom. Later that day they posted “emergency notices” for the 10pm - 8am clubhouse/restroom closure. This was the third RV park we stayed in on our Rockies trip and the largest site. The others all had better bathroom facilities, were cleaner and more polite staff. Oh and when you are able to use the restroom it inexplicably had four showers, but just one stall… poorly thought out!

This is a scenic place to stay between Breckenridge and Frisco. The only game in town so take it or leave it and they know it. Sites are great and facilities are good. Stayed here a number of times. As most places like this, service ticks down every year. They spray for bugs and coat the vehicles with an unknown chemical so thick you can’t drive. Their response is to tell you go wash it somewhere. So, you go wash it. The grounds crew comes in and blows sand and leaves all over the vehicle. So, I’ll go wash the sand off and maybe they will move to another site to spray and blow and I can leave. I’ve stayed in a lot of great RV resorts in the last 25 years. This is run more like a KOA than a high dollar resort. Sad.

Plus: Friendly staff, beautiful location, some work to improve dog park Negatives: landscaping maintenance has really deteriorated over the last few years. This used to be such a vibrant 5 star place. Now, grass is turning brown, not mowed with weeds popping through. The flowers were beautiful in the past and now seem a bit neglected. Disappointed in the upkeep. This is not inexpensive to stay here so expect better.

Our stay here on 4/22/25 was great! We were a unique situation where we needed a place to stay the same night we emailed/called. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We also did not fit the bill for the style/size/type of rig that this campground typically allows. We were a lot smaller than what they require, but they were wonderful and made an exception for our one night stay. The clubhouse was great! Bathrooms/showers were clean and well stocked. The swimming pool was clean and they even had classes you could take! They also had the best little arcade that we have seen. There was pin ball machines, pop a shot, racing and shooting games, claw machines and a Pong game. The conference room was being worked on, but the office space was nice. Location wise, this was only about 10 minutes from downtown Breckenridge and about the same to the nearest Walmart. Highly recommend staying here.
