Beautiful campground. Very clean and well maintained. Mainly permanent vacation spots, but has a few overnight spots. Mostly peaceful and quiet, but lots of train activity (horns) during the night, but more distant than some we've stayed at. It seems it is hard to find a place without train noise off of I-70 in the Midwest. Anyway that has been our experience.

We stayed one night - in the rain - so we didn’t get the full experience. However, the place is interesting with lots of full time setups obviously ready to host kids and grandkids around a large field, small pool, and lots of walking space. The owner said the weekends are pretty full yet quite near sundown. The hosts are friendly and helpful with an interesting story of the history and future of the park. We had water and electricity but no sewer. Dump station is available. Toilets and showers clean.

Easy on and off from I-70. Overnight stays are near the front of parking w/e only. Park office is way in back. However, plenty of signage directing drivers were to go. We did not use any facilities as it rained the entire stay. Park is good for overnight stay. Would probably stay again. Got a 50% discount with RPI. Offer passport discount too. No wifi offered, we travel with ours.

This is a campground, not a hotel. We were put in a nice long site with our 38 foot 5th wheel and big Ford truck, so we didn't have to unhook just to spend one night. We didn't use any of the facilities. We wanted to use the bath house but it was too far for us to walk. When we pulled in to register, it was hard to find the office. It was a little bit of a walk and there wasn't a sign. Just signs showing how far it was. The trash dumpster was inconvenient at the exit also. You couldn't pull your camper up to the office or the dumpster, without getting out and walking. It was a quiet park, but it was off season. There were a lot of trees every where. We asked for just electric and water hookups. The site was level side to side. Jodi was very nice and accommodating in the office. They don't have a map of the park so she had to drive down to our site to direct us to where the bath house was. A lot of seasonal sites are here with home made built structures around them, made of wood with metal panels, to protect against the elements. Our front view was of a cornfield. The sites were very roomy. They do allow pets. They have a beautiful boxer in the office and he was very friendly. We would return to this campground if we were traveling through again.

Beautiful private campground with sites for overnight travelers. We had a very long pull thru that was level side to side. Very quiet. Good T-Mobile connection. Very well maintained with a convenient dump station and trash facilities. Only two easy miles off I-70

We came here on a family road trip as our first destination. Arriving on Tuesday, the grounds were pretty quiet, with only a few other campers near us. We are in an rv so the quality of the hookups mattered. They have water and electric, but no sewage, which didn’t prove to be an issue. The bathrooms were alright, not very clean but that was to be expected. The lakes were nice, and the views were great. We saw a great sunset.

This was a great place for an overnight stop. It's a little bit off the freeway so not as much road noise as some places. The sites were nice in size. Cost for an overnight was great! The owner was super friendly and helpful.

We stayed here a single night with our 3 kids on a cross country road trip - amazing!!! I was so pleased with location, it had multiple playgrounds and activities for the kids, a big beautiful cornfield lining one side of the property, and some of the prettiest trees I’ve seen. I took a walk with my dog in the AM to explore and was not disappointed with the location at all. Clean, incredibly priced, and Jody couldn’t be sweeter! We arrived late and she was still happy to help us locate our campsite and even drove us there. There are some permanent campers and they have adorable setups that the kids loved checking out too (age 5, 5, 9). Highly recommend!

Very pleasant campground. Off the highway but not far by any means. I was surprised how quiet it was considering the amount of campers present. The campground staff really work their butts off to keep it well maintained and presentable. They even have play areas for children to burn off energy after a long travel day.

Very nice campground. Jody, and the dogs, were very friendly and greeted us at the door. Nice long pull through sites, very clean and quiet. Will stay here again.
