We love the little town of Arcadia. The resort is pretty nice. The pool is screened in, and the club house seems pretty well maintained. The neighbors were great, too. The bad thing.....The water here smells horrible. That's pretty much the only issue. Our clothes smelled after doing laundry, and when we showered, the steam smelled a bit like cow dung. Time of year? Well water? City water? I'm not sure, but I hope it gets fixed. They do have a building near the pool with a fountain coming out of the top with flowing water. I'm not sure what it is for, but I imagine it's some sort of water pump or filtration thing.

Nice well kept campground. Nice screen covered pool. RV sites are long and wide. However, pulling a RV fifth-wheel was very tight going around corners. Almost ran over a stop sign. And there is very little to do in town. Poor T-Mobile Service at night.

We stayed in our rv. Nice place to stay only complaint is the hot tub closes to soon.

Visited Toby’s Resort once again and notice a lot of great changes to the park. The amenities are clean and renovated making our stay enjoyable. The new management have made a huge difference to the park and they are very kind and always willing to help. Good job to the new management team, keep it up!

Toby’s is like in the middle of no where south central Florida. Although quite close to Arcadia for shopping runs. Lots on owned lots and full timers, all prepared for strong weather, although I would never stay here for a hurricane. Nice caged pool, hot tub, shuffle board and pier into a retention pond. The grass is well kept, but the concrete pads are pretty beat up and uneven, the pull through are packed tightly together. I could only find 3 showers, but due to extremely cool weather, we never used. The office is unattended on the weekend. I can recommend Toby’s for a quick get away for locals and a nice spot to stay for seasonal travelers. We will visit Toby’s RV resort again. PS: great cell/data service with Verizon

Very nice staffing, kept me informed for bill wise. Neighbors are extremely nice & friendly. Grass is kept trimmed (it is cut weekly), pool cleaned, & they keep people away from the flooding lots. The only thing they need to really clean is their hobby shed/ gym area. It is completely flooded with Daddy Long Leg Spiders & looks disgusting in there. Also, they should get an A/C unit in there because in extreme heat index days someone could suffocate.

Great location, plenty to do and see, close to shops but very quiet

We came here as snow birds. Quickly became friends with many people in the park. Definitely come in as strangers and leave as family

It's an okay RV Park, the pad was grass, no free wifi or Cable TV, and the sewer caps threads were messed up so our connector couldn't screw into it securely. Also the sewer cap wasn't even secured to the sewer pipe and would just come out of the ground. I called to book a site at Riverside Encore and the guy on the phone told me that, that one was booked but he had this one right near by. I guess our definition of right near by are totally different as those two are 30 min apart from eachother and Toby's RV put us way further inland that I wanted to be. Definitely overpriced for what you get, but a quiet community and seems safe and secure besides possible alligators walking around. I didn't see any but sure wasn't gonna take my chance in the evening. I definitely don't think we will be back to this one, so many better RV parks in Florida than this one.

We enjoy our time here at Toby's RV Resort. We stay for about 7-8 months.
